Description

Description Overview We at MUFG PMS have been using Pega as our primary workflow management tool for over 5 years in MUFG PMS Retirement Solutions. We are expanding our development team as we further extend the usages of Pega in other geographies. This expansion is part of the strategic plan of using Pega to ensure business process optimization at global level. The Senior Developer, Pega shall work within a team of PEGA developers catering to the delivery of current and emerging business requirements to meet our companies needs to automate tasks so that we reduce errors, increase compliance, and remove repetitive tasks. The Individual will bring knowledge, expertise and work ethic in the fast-paced environment using Agile/Scrum methodology. This role requires in-depth knowledge of Pega core concepts and expertise in development of Pega based functional components. Key Accountabilities and main responsibilities Strategic Focus Participate in the development, testing, implementation, and documenting of solutions. Adhere to the guardrails and subsequently ensure that application compliance scores are maximised. Independently implement & Support advance Pega features. Manage Pega Release Management processes to ensure smooth deployment of updates. Introduce Innovation to solve business challenges. Stay committed to continuous learning and professional development. Operational Management Develop quick to market, high quality IT solutions within an agile environment. Develop technical documentation and guidelines for Pega applications. Troubleshooting application issues, coding bugs, and bottlenecks. Monitor and control Pega applications to ensure stability and reliability. Oversee Pega Integration processes to ensure seamless connectivity with other systems. People Leadership Engage with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to gather and analyse requirements to develop IT Solutions. Provide training and support to junior developers and team members. Coach and mentor team members to strengthen specific knowledge/skill within the team. Collaborate with the internal team and support/assist in timely completion of assigned tasks, effective technology usage for problem solving. Governance & Risk Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements. Support MUFG Group assurance programs that deliver effective risk management and compliance practices. To assist with the development of new team standards, methodologies, and processes to increase both the quality and efficiency of the development work. Experience & Personal Attributes Experience Must have 6+ years of experience in development with minimum 5 years in Pega. Must be CSSA certified preferably in latest version of Pega. Must have working experience in Pega V8.X or higher version. Personal Attributes Extremely adaptable and quick to pick up new business concepts within a unique business environment. Ability to proactively solve problems and work on own initiative. Have a flexible and ‘can do’ attitude and be willing to be accountable for and own allocated tasks. Self-motivated with a strong team spirit. Strong work ethic Possess effective verbal & communication skills.
