This individual would be responsible for generating project cost estimates for the Sales department.  </p><p>Requirements</p><p>  </p><p><strong>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p><ul><li>Assembles relevant documents to be used in the estimating process to include: proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents. </li><li>Assists in the development of the proposal.</li><li>Develop field equipment bills of material and associated costs.</li><li>Develop control panel listings and associated costs.</li><li>Assist in estimating engineering services.</li><li>Identifies specific products and/or services to be excluded.</li><li>Obtain written accurate quotation from vendor and subcontractor, including price, terms, condition and delivery.</li><li>Understand and communicate bid deadlines internally and to contributing supplier and sub-contractors.</li><li>Attend pre-bid meetings and visit job sites as required. </li></ul><p><br/></p><p><strong>COMPETENCIES:</strong></p><ul><li>Proficient with office software (e.g. Microsoft Word and Excel)</li><li>Ability to work independently</li><li>Ability to complete work accurately and by a deadline</li><li>Ability to perform calculations required to size components</li><li>Ability to manage and track multiple project estimates</li><li>Strong communication and organizational skills</li><li>Knowledge of industrial controls</li><li>Knowledge of industry design standards and specifications</li></ul><p><strong>EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:</strong></p><p>An associate’s degree in engineering with one-year related experience with a minimum of two years’ related experience with college instruction in a related field. </p><p><br/></p><p><strong>ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:</strong></p><ul><li>This position requires a valid driver’s license </li><li>Travel will be limited</li><li>Drug testing and background check completed as a condition of employment</li></ul><p><br/></p><p><strong>BENEFITS</strong><br/>Commerce Controls, Inc.  provides its employees with a rich benefit plan that includes Health, Dental, Vision Insurance, Short Term Disability, Long Term Disability, Life Insurance, Flexible Spending Account for both Health and Dependent Care, Health Savings Account, company sponsored wellness program and a 401(k) Plan with company match.
