    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><div><div><div><p id=\"isPasted\">The Maintenance Worker is responsible for general maintenance of company property buildings, grounds and equipment.</p><p>&nbsp;<strong>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Maintains grounds and parking lots, performing garbage pick-up, minor routine parking lot repairs, landscaping, weeding, and other related maintenance activities.</li><li>Maintains building by performing minor and routine painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical wiring, tile repair and other related maintenance activities.</li><li>Performs maintenance and repairs on equipment, including small engines and electrical motors.</li><li>Notifies the supervisor of the need for significant lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment repairs.</li><li>Maintains motor vehicles (trucks, tractors, salters, and plows).</li><li>Repairs and maintains all doors and entryway hardware.</li><li>Cleans snow and debris from sidewalks and parking lots.</li><li>Mows lawn, trims shrubbery, and cultivates flowers.</li><li>Replace light bulbs.</li><li>Operates power tools and equipment.</li><li>Must have a valid Driver&#39;s license.</li></ul><p><strong>OTHER DUTIES</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong><strong>EDUCATION &amp; EXPERIENCE:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>High school diploma or general education degree (GED).</li><li>Trade school certification and mechanical repair courses or equivalent experience, a plus.</li><li>Experience in one or more relevant fields, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, landscaping, etc., a plus.</li></ul><p>&nbsp; <strong>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS &amp; ABILITIES:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.</li><li>Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.</li><li>Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;<strong>PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:</strong></p><p>The physical demands described here represent those that an employee must meet to perform the essential functions of this job successfully.
