    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Job Summary:</strong><strong><br>&nbsp;</strong>The Surveillance Operator uses a variety of tools that can range from enterprise access control and alarm monitoring systems/CCTV and other tools to respond and alert internal and external customers regarding adverse conditions that may affect operations, staff, facilities, and properties.</p><p><strong>Duties/Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Monitor security cameras, access control, alarms, and other tools.</li></ul><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Oversee various recording of communications and events.</li><li>Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of and proficiency in the operation of video monitor console equipment and related logging procedures and location of cameras. Prepare and maintain logs, observation reports, and other data in a manner prescribed by the Surveillance Division Policies and procedures.</li><li>Perform quality assurance functions to ensure accuracy of information.</li><li>Ensure that all evidence materials are properly maintained including but not limited to, reports, video footage and photographs.</li><li>Demonstrate the ability to make appropriate decisions and exercise action during high tension stressful situations.</li><li>Monitor CCTV and access control systems for a network of facilities across multiple locations.</li><li>Confirm incident and crisis situations.</li><li>Execute multiple SOPs.</li><li>Provide superior customer service.</li><li>Identify and communicate potential threats to assets under company protection.</li><li>Identify and respond to emergency situations with a sense of urgency.</li><li>Complete incident reports and support investigations</li><li>Analyze &amp; review video to support security operations and investigations.</li><li>Performs other related duties as assigned.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Required Skills/Abilities:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Must be able to effectively use or learn computer systems CCTV and Networked Video Systems, Alarm monitoring systems, Telephone, and Instant Messaging systems.</li><li>Skilled in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Open-Source searches)</li><li>Exposure to data visualization and mapping platforms</li><li>Proficient with social media platforms including, but not limited to Twitter, Instagram, Facebook</li><li>Excellent customer service focused attitude</li><li>Trustworthy, professional, and reliable</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills</li><li>Must successfully pass a Criminal Background Check and/or obtain security clearances as required by the client and employer.</li><li>Must be able to pass any required training or other qualifications for employment.</li><li>Must be able to pass and complete employer mandated training (on-line learning modules, in-class and virtual training as required)</li><li>1-2 years of experience working in one or more of the following environments:</li><li>Commercial or Corporate security environments involving 24/7 monitoring and escalation processes.</li><li>Security/Emergency/Response based dispatch/operations center services involving direct interaction with callers and dispatched personnel.</li><li>Advanced communication skills (written and verbal) in English.</li><li>Ability to remain calm under pressure and de-escalate and re-direct telephone conversations to quickly identify and take action to resolve incidents.</li><li>Demonstrated desire for continuous learning and skills development.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Education and Experience:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Education GED or High School Diploma</li><li>Experience 12-18 months of experience desired, prior military //law enforcement preferred, open source/computer investigations.</li><li>Must have valid State issued driver&#39;s license at hire and throughout employment.</li><li>Required Certificates: All legally required licenses and permits necessary to perform the job in the State of operation, before and throughout assignment.</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong></p><p>With or without reasonable accommodation, requires the physical and mental capacity to effectively perform all essential functions.
