Description

Make a Difference Through Leadership and Support At Valley Woods , the Team Lead will support a permanent supportive housing program dedicated to helping adults ages 18 and older build the skills needed to live as independently as possible. The Team Lead will provide day-to-day supervision, coaching, and support to staff while fostering a collaborative team environment that promotes quality care and services for residents. $2,000 Retention Sign-on Bonus!!!! Pay: Range starts at $20.65/hour ( pay is calculated based on years of related experience) Shift Differential: Additional $2.25/hour Schedule : Monday – Friday | 8:00am – 4:00pm Benefits Highlights Compensation Our compensation program includes tenure-based service increases and performance bonuses that recognize and reward high-performing team members. On-Demand Pay gives you access to a portion of your earned wages before your scheduled payday. Time Off We offer 15 days of accrued paid time off annually (increasing by one day with each year of service), 10 paid holidays, 2 wellness days, and paid parental leave. Health & Insurance Benefits Full-time and part-time team members working 30+ hours per week are eligible for medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, as well as voluntary options including accident, hospital indemnity, critical illness, financial protection, and pet insurance. Valley also provides Basic Life, Accidental Death & Dismemberment, and Long-Term Disability Insurance at no cost to eligible team members. Health Savings & Reimbursement Out-of-pocket medical expenses may be eligible for reimbursement through our Garner HRA — up to $2,000 for individuals and $4,000 for families. Depending on your medical plan selection, you may also contribute pre-tax dollars to a Health Savings Account (HSA), with a company match of up to $900 for individuals and $1,800 for families. Retirement Our 401(k) plan accepts both pre-tax and Roth (post-tax) contributions and includes a company match of up to 6% of your annual salary. Job Summary & Deliverables The Team Lead performs a variety of supervisory tasks and ensures employees have the resources and training to perform their jobs successfully. The Team Lead possesses advanced knowledge and skill in their respective function and utilizes this knowledge and skill to train, coach, and supervise employees. The Team Lead actively encourages a culture of collaboration and teamwork. Essential Functions Supervises the daily activities and operational performance of a team of direct care employees Ensures ongoing and transparent communication by holding huddles, one-to-one meetings, and the utilization of approved communication resources. Ensures communication saturation. Promotes a culture of strong performance and high morale Provides orientation, training, and mentoring to new employees; ensures that orientation and training objectives are completed within established timeframes Ensures the completion of clinical and operational goals within required timelines Coordinates and trains employees to understand program service delivery model and how each member of the team serves to ensure fulfillment Ensures employee compliance with company policy, procedure and operational expectations Addresses performance problems and provides appropriate support Improves employee competence by providing educational resources and training Improves clinical, operational, and financial results by analyzing data; monitoring variances; identifying trends; recommending actions to management Prepares and analyzes reports as required Manages employee timecards and other payroll responsibilities Works with the Quality Assurance department and Valley Leadership to ensure compliance with all related and applicable regulatory requirements including but not limited to: grants, licensing, audits, property management and Medicaid Performs client care responsibilities including targeted case management, medication distribution, client transportation, etc. Coordinates with leadership to ensure shift coverage; provides on-call coverage as assigned
