QUALIFICATIONS: Ideal candidate should have a positive attitude, be productive with minimal supervision, and have a good attendance record Must wear dark slacks and slip resistant shoes Have and maintain driver's license PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: A high school diploma or equivalency Two years food services experience HOURS OF OPERATION: AM Shift - Monday – Friday (6:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.) * PM Shift- (Monday- Thursday, 10:30 a.m. - 7:30 p.m, Saturday or Sunday)* *Hours may vary to meet the needs of the department ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Must be vigilant in cleaning and organizing your assigned area. Maintain sanitary conditions in food preparation and food serving areas. Empty and clean trash containers, dispose of food and trash in a sanitary manner. Sweep and mop kitchen, serving, and dining areas. Duties within our department may change based on the need of the department. Duties may include but are not limited to: Cashier services Food preparation Dining area upkeep Dishwashing and custodial care Assist with catering events as needed at various campus locations district wide. Maintain a professional work environment, and abide by NWCC rules and policies. Any and all other duties as assigned by the Food Service management staff. Physical Demands and Work Environment: May travel to various campus locations district wide for catering events Must be able to work a flexible schedule due to shift changes if needed that may include weekends or nights Must work well in a team environment Must be able to perform tasks that may require stretching, reaching above head, and shoulders Must be able to properly lift up to 50 lbs.
