Named as one of Tennessee’s safest cities, the Nashville Business Journal named Atoka as the most affordable place to live in Tennessee! </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Essential Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Examine and treat companion animals to detect and determine the nature of disease or injuries.</li>\n <li>Operate diagnostic equipment and collect diagnostic samples as well as interpret results.</li>\n <li>Advise pet owners on preventative care and treatment options.</li>\n <li>Perform surgery and prescribe medication as needed.</li>\n <li>Provide counsel around pet end of life care.</li>\n <li>Maintain patients’ medical records.</li>\n <li>Ensures compliance with veterinary ethics and relevant statues, policies, and procedures.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Requirements/Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>DVM/VMD degree from an accredited AVMA institution.</li>\n <li>Appropriate state licensure.</li>\n <li>Eligibility to obtain DEA/BNDD.</li>\n <li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li>\n <li>Demonstrates professional and courteous presentation consistently with staff and clients.</li>\n <li>Ability to lift patients and carry equipment up to 25 pounds; ability to lift patients or carry equipment over 25 pounds with assistance.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Benefits Offered</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Unlimited personal time off (PTO)</li>\n <li>Bonus incentives</li>\n <li>Health insurance; dental insurance; vision insurance</li>\n <li>Retirement benefits (401(k) or Roth(k) with match)</li>\n <li>CE and licensure reimbursement </li>\n <li>Flexible work schedules</li>\n <li>Managing career path development</li>\n <li>DVM Referral Program</li>\n <li>Relocation assistance available</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Pay Range</h2>USD $100,000.00 - USD $120,000.00 /Yr.",
