          "text": "<p><strong>Position Summary:</strong></p><p>The R&amp;D Mechanical Engineer is a key link to product realization.&#xa0; Under the lead of the Project Manager and with the backing of the global R&amp;D team, the role transforms customer needs into final products through engineering design, analysis, prototyping, testing, and production development with the ultimate goal to deliver innovative products and solutions to our global customers.</p><p>&#xa0;</p><p><strong>Essential Functions:</strong></p><ul><li>Design and develop new mechanical hand tools (Design &amp; Industrialization) while meeting quality, cost and time targets.</li><li>Create concepts, feasibility studies, physical prototypes, detailed drawings, assembly drawings, product documentation.</li><li>Execute feasibility, verification, and validation tests; consolidate and evaluate test results; develop &amp; continuously improve test equipment and global procedures.</li><li>Carry out engineering analysis for new and existing designs, including FEA, tolerance analysis, and stress analysis</li><li>Assist with analysis and resolution of customer quality issues</li><li>Propose suggestions for product and department improvements</li><li>Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional project team, suppliers, and customers.</li><li>Deploy state-of-the-art engineering (e.g. Design for Six Sigma) and technical risk management tools</li><li>Define technical requirements and track fulfillment</li></ul>",
