Located in St. Joseph, Michigan, LECO continues to be a family-owned company that understands the value of shared interests, long-term stability, loyalty, and trust.</p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Schedule:</strong></p><p>Full Time: 8:00am &ndash; 5:00pm, Monday &ndash; Friday&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Position Summary:&nbsp;</strong></p><p data-start=\"103\" data-end=\"691\" data-pasted=\"true\">This position is primarily based in the eastern United States and requires domestic travel to customer locations. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a diverse customer base are essential. As a customer-facing member of the team, you will build and maintain relationships while supporting service activities at customer facilities. Responsibilities include providing maintenance, repairs, upgrades, installations, and training on LECO instrumentation, as well as collaborating with other engineering disciplines and working with leading-edge technology.</p><p data-start=\"693\" data-end=\"855\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">The ideal candidate will reside in Massachusetts, North Carolina, South Carolina, or Georgia. Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States is required.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Position Responsibilities:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Troubleshoot, repair and install GC-MS, GCxGC-MS and GCxGC FID instrumentation.</li><li>Promptly and correctly fill out service, installation, and related reports.</li><li>Aid in documentation creation/review for new and current instrumentation.</li><li>Presenting technical information regarding hardware and software in front of customers and LECO staff.</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Position Requirements:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Minimum of Bachelor degree in the physical sciences with a background in analytical chemistry</li><li>Unrestricted work authorization to work within the United States</li><li>Working knowledge of GC/GCxGC-TOFMS, or other Separation Science products with two years hands-on experience (including service or laboratory work)</li><li>Must be able to work independently and have strong interpersonal and customer communication skills</li><li>Previous experience in field service or as a laboratory instrument operator and a basic knowledge of electronics is desirable</li><li>Ability to write SOPs and teaching experience is strongly desirable</li><li>Working knowledge of MS Office is required</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Education/Certifications:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Minimum of Bachelor degree in the physical sciences with a background in analytical chemistry</li></ul><p><strong>*</strong>Special consideration for recent graduates is a possibility depending on the skills and depth of knowledge on relevant technology &nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>EOE M/F/VET/Disability</strong></p></div></div></div>\n",
