Duties and assignments may be adjusted at the discretion of the Resident Care Coordinator/ Director based on an evaluation of resident needs.&nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div id=\"isPasted\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 24px;\">Work Schedule/ Shift</span></strong></div><div id=\"isPasted\">Work shift varies</div><div><br></div><div id=\"isPasted\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 24px;\">Compensation</span></strong></div><div id=\"isPasted\"><span id=\"isPasted\" style=\"font-size: 18px; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400; text-align: left; text-indent: 0px;\">Starting at</span>&nbsp;$16.30/hour</div><p><strong id=\"isPasted\"><span style=\"font-size: 24px;\">What you'll do</span></strong></p><ul><li id=\"isPasted\">Provides companion care as listed on resident’s plan of care.</li><li>Provides or assists in bathing or showering for thorough cleanliness and hygiene of resident.</li><li>Assists residents in dressing when needed and demonstrates concern for individual privacy while providing resident care.</li><li>Assists residents to schedule medical appointments or other vital services as indicated by the resident’s plan of care.</li><li>May be requested to accompany resident to appointments at the direction of the Resident Care Coordinator, Memory Care Manager, Wellness Nurse, or Director.</li><li>Promotes appropriate levels of independence in resident care and demonstrates awareness of safety for both resident and self in providing care.</li><li>Assists resident with simple range of motion or other exercises as directed by nurse or therapist and ambulates resident according to his/her endurance levels.</li><li>When directed by the plan of care, assists resident to site fitness program or individual planned events.</li><li>Applies medical or adaptive devices as ordered by the appropriate physician, physician extender, or supervising nurse.</li><li>May be requested to assist in collecting specimens as directed by the Resident Care Coordinator, Memory Care Coordinator, or Wellness Nurse.</li><li>Assists with activities, including participating and/or leading activities per Activities Manager and Resident Care Coordinator, Memory Care Coordinator, or Wellness Nurse Instructions.</li><li>May assist in resident meal service, based on community needs.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p><strong id=\"isPasted\" style=\"font-weight: 700; font-size: 18px; font-style: normal; text-align: left; text-indent: 0px;\"><span style=\"font-size: 24px;\">Requirements &amp; Qualifications</span></strong>&nbsp;</p><ul><li id=\"isPasted\">Adaptability and strong organization and time management skills.</li><li>Excellent resource management, computer, record keeping, interpersonal, decision making, and verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Patience and compassion when dealing with others, especially those who are sick, injured, elderly, or from different backgrounds.</li><li>Flexibility to work when needed, especially evenings, weekends, or early mornings.</li><li>Willingness to adhere to and enforce all safety policies and procedures.</li><li>High school diploma required.</li><li>Six (6) months experience in providing personal care in a residential or long-term care setting preferred.</li></ul>",
