    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Copley Hospital, located in Morrisville/Stowe VT, is in search of a Quality Management Director to join our team! </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Under the direction of the Chief Operating Officer, provides leadership and oversight for the development, implementation and administration of the Quality Management Department to ensure that the department and organization meets or exceeds its obligations in the areas of quality assurance and improvement, quality measurement, regulatory readiness and compliance, risk mitigation, infection prevention, clinical informatics, clinical education, and medical staff peer review.</p>\n<p>Functions include:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Quality Improvement Projects, Committees and Monitoring</li>\n <li>Infection Prevention & Employee Health</li>\n <li>Liability Insurance Programs</li>\n <li>Safety / Risk Mitigation</li>\n <li>Medical Staff Services and Committee Support</li>\n <li>Education & Quality</li>\n <li>Regulatory Compliance and Survey Readiness</li>\n <li>Care Management and Utilization Review</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Assumes responsibility for the development and maintenance of systems, programs and processes to support the patient experience by ensuring evidenced based practice, supporting clinical quality and patient safety,and ensuring Regulatory Compliance and Survey Readiness Guides the organization and communicates changes as needed in the following areas: Regulatory Compliance and Survey Readiness, Quality Improvement, Employee Health, Clinical Education, Safety/Risk Mitigation, Infection Prevention, Event Reporting and customer relations/ patient complaints. Works closely with Medical Staff in medical chart review and peer review processes. Chairs meetings and leads teams, including the Quality Council meeting. Manages the business of the department including budgets, staff and supporting resources.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This is a Full-Time position (PT options available). </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Copley Hospital has a variety of shifts available across <strong>Full-Time, Part-Time, and Per Diem</strong> needs. An offer may vary based on factors such as experience, education, skills, internal equity, and market data. An offer of employment may be outside of the posted range based on those factors.</strong></p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Education Desired:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>BS in Nursing or related Health Related Field desired.</li>\n <li>Relevant Master’s Degree also an advantage.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Experience Desired:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>3-5 years acute care quality and or risk management experience.</li>\n <li>Systems Administration</li>\n <li>Recent Hospital experience including use of Electronic Health Record; data management</li>\n <li>Project Management</li>\n <li>1-3 years supervisory, consulting, and or leadership experience.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>License and Certification Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Registered Nurse with Vermont License in good standing</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Skills:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>1-3 years supervisory, consulting, and or leadership experience.</li>\n <li>Experience with performance improvement methods and tools, group facilitation, project management. (Quality and Risk certification preferred).</li>\n <li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint.  </li>\n <li>Skilled in investigation, statistical and analytic methods, interpretation and analysis of data.</li>\n <li>Excellent communication skills including establishing and maintaining collaborative Medical Staff and Department Leader relationships.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated effective listening skills and role modeling confidentiality.</li>\n <li>Familiar with Joint Commission standards and able to monitor Patient Safety Goals.</li>\n</ul>",
