This is not your typical stylist role. You'll be our trusted expert in the field — representing the Drybar brand at weddings, bridal events, and private occasions throughout the greater Chicagoland area.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We partner with event planners, wedding planners, and bridal makeup studios, and we hold ourselves to a standard that reflects that partnership. If you take pride in your craft, show up prepared, and love making people feel beautiful on their most important days — this role was made for you.</p>\n<p><strong>What You'll Do</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Travel to wedding venues, hotels, and private residences to deliver on-site hair styling</li>\n <li>Execute bridal and event hair with precision — Hollywood waves, elegant updos, bubble braids, veil placement, and Drybar signature blowouts</li>\n <li>Serve as a direct extension of the Drybar Wheaton brand — professional, warm, and flawless every time</li>\n <li>Maintain availability for advance bookings — some weddings book 12–18 months out, and we need stylists who plan ahead alongside us</li>\n <li>Commit to two Saturday in-salon shifts per month at Drybar Wheaton</li>\n <li>Be available on an on-call basis as our dedicated on-location stylist as demand grows</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>What We're Looking For</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Proven bridal and event styling experience — this is a requirement, not a plus</li>\n <li>Mastery of Hollywood waves (our most requested style — this is non-negotiable)</li>\n <li>Strong command of updos, modern braids, and veil work</li>\n <li>Active Illinois cosmetology license</li>\n <li>Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to event locations</li>\n <li>The kind of person who packs their kit the night before — prepared, thorough, and never caught off guard</li>\n <li>Punctual, professional, and genuinely kind — clients should feel at ease the moment you walk in</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Appearance Standards</strong></p>\n<p>All-black professional attire is required for every on-location event — no exceptions.
