    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol\"><span> </span></span><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure vetting approvals are maintained and vessels are adequately prepared for inspections.</li>\n<li>Support Masters with vetting preparations, debriefings, and follow-up of observations.</li>\n<li>Analyze inspection results, identify trends, and recommend performance improvements.</li>\n<li>Conduct vessel visits, audits (navigation, mooring, cargo, behavioral), and crew competency assessments.</li>\n<li>Investigate marine, cargo, and navigational incidents; implement corrective and preventive actions.</li>\n<li>Monitor compliance with alcohol and drug testing programs.</li>\n<li>Oversee cost control, maintenance, and budgeting for assigned vessels and equipment.</li>\n<li>Manage dry dock preparations, tendering, supervision, and delivery within budget and timeframe.</li>\n<li>Collaborate with internal departments to ensure compliance, documentation, and efficient operations.</li>\n<li>Contribute to crew recruitment, training, and appraisals.</li>\n<li>Assess risks at ports/terminals and provide guidance on safe operations and cargo handling.</li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with international regulations, SMS, and industry best practices.</li>\n<li>Follow up on corrective actions and ensure timely implementation across the fleet.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Captain Class A License.</li>\n<li>Minimum 5 years’ sea experience on tanker/chemical vessels, including at least 3 years as senior deck officer.</li>\n<li>Strong command of English (written and spoken).</li>\n<li>Proficient in IT systems and software applications.</li>\n<li>Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.</li>\n<li>Up-to-date knowledge of international regulations and marine industry developments.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>",
