DMG is experienced in the installation and service of all types of commercial HVAC systems, offering complete mechanical capabilities. We are one of the few contractors in the industry that offers complete in-house engineering and design capabilities in all three MEP disciplines. In-house engineering helps provide us with tighter control over project quality, budgets, and schedules.
On thousands of projects in a range of industries, we have had the privilege of working with some of the state’s leading contractors, developers, universities, governmental and military entities, and medical facilities. Job Title: Service Sales Executive-
Job Summary:
As a Service Sales Executive, you will be responsible for developing sales, profits, and relationships with potential clients. The candidate is to focus his/her efforts on selling clients the complete EMCOR Service operations, maintenance, repair, replacement, and energy solution package.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
This position will be responsible for developing sales presentations, prospecting for new accounts and providing clients with product services/information. This position also has responsibility for maintaining client pricing and payments, A/R management, client correspondence, P/L reports, quality assurance (QA) support, and industry and trade show participation.
Establishing relationships with prospective clients.
Seeking out and researching prospective projects through various methods (e.g., phone calls, visits, attending conferences, utilizing the Internet, leveraging existing relationships). Contacting prospective client Chief Engineer, Account Managers and Property Managers to introduce yourself and develop future relationships.
Working with the Service Sales Manager and EVP of Service in constantly reviewing and improving account programs to meet targeted objectives.
Managing through analysis and solution-based programs to maximize sales growth, volume, and profitability.
Preparing and delivering client presentations.
Develop, write, and review client proposal documents including financial and technical sections, using EMCOR/DMG standard template and pricing models.
Developing sales at defined margin levels to attain market share.
Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or business administration is preferred.
8+ years’ sales experience in HVAC commercial service and/or building automation.
Relevant technical experience, preferably in a Facilities Management or Operations and Maintenance environment.
Strong customer presentation skills and demonstrated sales aptitude.
Financial acumen, inclusive of cost modeling for sales proposals.
Experience in developing technical and cost proposals.
Independent decision-making is required.
Computer skills using MS Office required. Strong Excel skills are required.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities.
Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
Must be able to handle confidential information.
Must be organized and able to prioritize tasks.
