    "description": "<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Assesses the needs of patients and families in the home environment. </li>\n <li>Develops plan of care for the patient in conjunction with the physician and other health care providers. </li>\n <li>Administers prescribed care according to physician orders. </li>\n <li>Educates caregivers on plan of care and provides support to patient and families in providing needed care.</li>\n <li>Works with support services in obtaining needed supplies, equipment, and services for patients.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Work requires a basic knowledge of pathophysiology, the nursing process, nursing interventions, pharmacology,methods utilized for delivering nursing care, and the management of patients and personnel. </li>\n <li>Ability to complete documentation on a computer. </li>\n <li>Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and current Indiana RN license required. </li>\n <li>Current Indiana Driver’s License required. </li>\n <li>Must have own car. </li>\n <li>Must pass Criminal Record Check.</li>\n <li>Must be free of infectious disease.</li>\n <li>For Home Care RN, six (6) months of recent nursing experience and previous home care experience preferred.</li>\n <li>For Hospice RN, one (1) year nursing experience and previous hospice experience preferred.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>The above statements are intended to describe the functions and related requirements of persons assigned to thisjob.
