What you get to do in Packing: Pack aluminum extrusions using a box knife, cardboard and tape Ensures quality in the process including correct documentation, verification of the part, quantities, quality, finish, and the correct length of the metal Operate an overhead crane Communicate well with peers and management Read written instructions and follow verbal instructions Multitask, prioritize and work under time constraints What we are looking for: Must be a team player and willing to be trained to work in other areas as assigned Must be able to work shift 6 am to 6 pm, with periods of required overtime Regular and predictable attendance, ability to safely perform tasks, and adherence to all safety policies and procedures are essential functions of this job Stand and walk for entire shift on concrete, up to 12 hours Lift, push, pull or move up to 75lbs individually and 150lbs with a partner Work in temperatures consistent with same outdoor climate conditions of the region (Heat, humidity, etc.) What OBE Offers You Benefits that benefit you – industry competitive benefits at the lowest cost to the employee Work-life balance – PTO and holidays, including floating holidays you can choose Compensation that rewards your hard work – A pay-for-performance culture with potential for annual raises and bonuses Training – We will equip you with the knowledge and skills you need to succeed OBE Privacy Policy OBE will not discharge or discriminate against employees or applicants for discussing, disclosing, or inquiring about their own or others' pay.
