CMG’s product is our people, and we believe in fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment that enables the CMG team to grow upon its successes and make new discoveries.</span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">CMG is seeking a highly organized and self-motivated individual for a seasonal site-based role.  Reporting to the Project and/or Operations Manager(s), the Camp Manager will support and oversee all camp maintenance and operation.  Key accountabilities include managing and delegating to the supporting camp maintenance team; preventative maintenance on camp equipment; problem solving and providing detailed feedback and information on maintenance complications; and providing general camp maintenance.</span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Responsibilities</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">The position will:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Oversee the daily operations and maintenance (including vehicle, electrical, mechanical and plumbing) of exploration camps up to 50 persons in size</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Oversee and manage special builds or projects related to camp operations and their dedicated teams</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Ensure cleanliness and safety in camps and site in general</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Co-ordinate daily tasks and manage daily routine of camp support crew</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Report to Project and/or Operations Manager(s) daily</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Adhere to and understand corporate health, safety and compliance policies</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Maintain and report safety and incident records (including daily toolboxes, incident reports and investigations, near miss reporting)<span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"> within SiteDocs</span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Operate medium to heavy equipment (including loaders and skid steers)</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Maintain up to date and detailed inventory of camp tools and equipment </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Provide training and mentoring to camp staff</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-weight: bold\">Requirements</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">5+ years experience in camp maintenance or relevant experience</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Understanding and experience in trades such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry and a basic understanding of mechanical</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Ability to meet the physical demands of the job</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Ability to problem solve and multi-task</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Class 5 (or equivalent) Driver’s License and PAL required</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Other training considered an asset: WHMIS, FA Level 1, TDG, Frontline Supervisor, Mines Supervisor</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Experience operating equipment including loaders, dozers and skid steers</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Experience with helicopter supported mineral exploration programs</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Ability to train and sign off on training records for employees including equipment operation, basic carpentry, operating site vehicles etc</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Provide preventative and regular maintenance on onsite equipment (ie generators, water pumps, trucks, side by sides)</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Maintain a safe and clean work site</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Exhibit strong interpersonal, communication, time-management skills and be self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision</span></li>\n</ul>",
