They will lead the strategic modernization and migration of our enterprise Integrated Workplace Management System (IWMS) from traditional IBM TRIRIGA to the next-generation <strong data-pasted=\"true\">IBM Maximo Real Estate and Facilities (MREF)</strong> platform.</p><p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Location:</strong> Washington, D.C. (Hybrid &ndash; 2 days/week on-site)</p><p><strong>Clearance Requirements:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Applicants selected may be subject to a government security investigation.</li><li>USA Citizenship is required.</li><li>Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Federal Public Trust</li></ul><p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Target Architecture &amp; Containerization Strategy:</strong> Design, validate, and execute the target MREF infrastructure topology. Architect the shift from traditional server-based architectures to modern, containerized deployments using Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes within hybrid cloud environments.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Customization Delta Analysis &amp; OOB Alignment:</strong> Audit legacy TRIRIGA custom objects, workflows, and extended business logic. Conduct detailed delta analyses against MREF source code to eliminate technical debt, decommission bespoke code, and maximize Out-of-the-Box (OOB) automated workflows and AI capabilities.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Database Migration &amp; Schema Governance:</strong> Oversee the data extraction, schema mapping, and validation from legacy DB2/Oracle/SQL databases to the MREF target repository. Govern crucial backend database cleanup, user registries migration, and data purging activities to ensure a flawless data cutover.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Integration Framework Redesign (IoT &amp; AI):</strong> Redesign legacy integration endpoints to leverage the unified Maximo Application Suite framework. Engineer advanced pathways to embed Maximo Monitor, IoT building sensor telemetry, and AI predictive models for space optimization and energy management.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Dual-Environment Management &amp; Release Control:</strong> Govern configuration management, object migration packages, and parallel environment stability during the transition phase. Manage system freeze periods and staged incremental imports to mitigate risk and prevent workflow conflicts.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Post-Migration Reporting &amp; Compliance Validation:</strong> Ensure absolute data continuity and compliance. Validate that financial reporting engines (Cognos, BIRT, Power BI) and critical regulatory frameworks&mdash;specifically <strong>ASC 842 / IFRS 16 lease accounting standards</strong>&mdash;are fully intact and audit-ready post-migration.</li></ul><p><strong>Minimum Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Minimum 10+ years</strong> of progressive experience in IT architecture, with a dedicated focus on enterprise IWMS deployments (IBM TRIRIGA).</li><li>Proven track record as a Lead/Principal Architect on at least one major enterprise-scale software migration or platform modernization initiative.</li><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s or Master&rsquo;s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.</li><li>Expert-level knowledge of IBM TRIRIGA application platform tools (Data Modeler, Workflow Builder, Form Wizard, State Action Family).</li><li>Deep understanding of the <strong>IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS)</strong> ecosystem and the architecture of the new <strong>MREF</strong> platform.</li><li>Hands-on architectural experience with containerization technologies, specifically <strong>Red Hat OpenShift</strong> and Kubernetes</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\">Strong proficiency in enterprise database management systems (IBM DB2, Oracle, MS SQL Server) and complex ETL processes.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience designing REST/SOAP APIs, OSLC integrations, and connecting IoT/Smart Building telemetry.</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>IBM TRIRIGA Application Platform Certified Application Developer / Architect</li><li>Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration / Architecture</li><li>TOGAF, Zachman, or equivalent Enterprise Architecture Certification</li><li>Project Management Professional (PMP) or Agile/Scrum certification is a plus</li></ul>\n",
