You will be joining a successful company who values your contribution and rewards success.\n\nAdept is hiring a Microsoft DevOps Engineer skilled in Microsoft technologies. A minimum of Ten (10) years of IT experience is required. You should bring experience planning and managing web enabled databases for public facing and interactive websites in a large enterprise. Media or Retail application experience helpful.\n\nMust be able to successfully manage all website technical upgrades and integrations. Ability to meet deadlines is required. Must work independently with minimal supervision. A proven track record is required and references must confirm your skills. This is a Work from Home position, no travel required.\n\nGeneral Duties\n\nThis person would primarily be responsible for everything related to the various Windows application environments that are required to run the website and digital properties.\n\n· You will need extensive experience managing traditional Windows/IIS server environments.\n\n· Experience working with WAF environments.\n\n· Ability to architect, implement, deploy, and manage complex application solutions that satisfy the evolving requirements and policies of the hosting and IT partners.\n\n· Ensure that the application and server environments are compliant with all security protocols and policies (CA2). Remediate any documented issues in expected time frame.\n\n· Engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C , JavaScript, and Powershell.\n\n· Experience with writing unit tests, performance and load test script.\n\n· Manage resources for dev/UAT/prod instances (web/app servers, databases, storage, networking, etc.).\n\n· Manage build steps/pipelines/releases for deploying code/db updates to resources.\n\n· Identify manual processes that can be automated. Maintain and service current automation programs.\n\n· Serve as the point of contact when working with the client to request services, DNS updates, planning infrastructure changes, and planning/executing application upgrades.\n\nManage access to code repositories (Git).\n\n· Provide 24x7 (on call) support for critical production systems.\n\n· Administration and development experience with Microsoft SQL Server is a plus.\n\n· Team player. Experience working collaboratively on cross discipline, multi functional teams.\n\n· On Prem experience required. Not cloud focused.\n\nStrong Windows/.NET experience is required\n\nSchedule:\n\n 8 hour shift\n Day shift\n Monday to Friday\n No weekends\n On call\n Weekends as needed\n\n Requirements\n\n Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT.\n Strong Windows/.NET experience is required\n\n Experience working with WAF environments.\n Ability to architect, implement, deploy, and manage complex application solutions that satisfy the evolving requirements and policies of the hosting and IT partners.\n Managing dev/UAT/Prod\n Ensure that the application and server environments are compliant with all security protocols and policies (CA2).
