We are looking for an upbeat and proactive Deskside Consultant for our BC branch located in Vancouver to support our clients on-site in Vancouver in the lower mainland! In this role, you will leverage your technical skills and provide an excellent customer experience, while building your experience and growing your career with Long View. The successful candidate will be required to travel between multiple sites across Vancouver; as such, a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are recommended. The successful candidate will start working hybrid and then move to fully onsite in July supporting our client. If you have any accommodation requests for your interview or the role, please let your friendly Recruiter know A Day in the Life: Deploy and support laptops and peripherals for new and existing users, following team standards Provision Windows 11 devices using Intune Autopilot (no traditional imaging); provide Tier 1 end-user support Deliver clear, professional communication with customers, stakeholders, and service providers Troubleshoot and resolve deskside issues, escalating and tracking incidents as needed Mentor and support less experienced team members, both on-site and remote Ensure compliance with client IT security, technology standards, and service practices Follow and model Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental policies and safe work practices Support office technology such as printers, AV, video conferencing, and meeting room equipment (nice to have) Participate in regional IT team collaboration to ensure consistent service delivery Contribute to continuous improvement in end-user support, service quality, and customer satisfaction What You Bring: 5+ years of IT support experience, including experience supporting a Microsoft environment in a Desktop Support Role Knowledge of server operations, infrastructure, web interfaces, remote access tools Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux/Mac OS environments Experience with: -> Microsoft Office O365 -> Remote support -> PC / printer hardware / VPN / Citrix -> Active Directory Ability to identify issues, escalate appropriately and work to resolve them Effective written and verbal communication skills What Makes You Extra Awesome: Post-secondary education in a related field CompTIA A+ Certification Microsoft Certifications Why Work at Long View?
