Must practice safe and responsible alcohol service.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Welcome customers, reading and listening to people to determine beverage preferences, making recommendations, and taking food/drink orders.</li><li>Inform customers about new beverages and specials.</li><li>Select and mixing ingredients, garnishing glasses, and serving beverages to customers.</li><li>Check identification to ensure customers are the legal age to purchase alcohol.</li><li>Adhere to all food safety and quality regulations.</li><li>Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring charges are accurate and returning correct change to patrons, balancing the cash register.</li><li>Work with fellow bartenders on busy nights efficiently.</li><li>Pour all server drinks.</li><li>Re-stock bar, walk-in.</li><li>Maintaining a clean work and dining area by removing trash, cleaning tables, and washing glasses, utensils, and equipment.</li><li>Knowledge of food/drink menu with the ability to make recommendations.</li><li>Complete end of the night closing duties, listed on our closing side work sheet.</li></ul>",
