Set up instrument tray and position instruments for Dentist&rsquo;s access.</li><li>Provide materials by selecting, mixing, and placing materials on instruments and in the patient&rsquo;s mouth.</li><li>Assist dentist during dental procedures.</li><li>Provide proper triage for patients. Take and record medical and dental histories and vital signs of patient.</li><li>Assist Dentist in management of medical and dental emergencies.</li><li>Educate patients in oral hygiene and plaque control.</li><li>Provide postoperative instructions prescribed by Dentist.</li><li>Record treatment information in patient records. Document dental care services by charting pertinent information in EHR.</li><li>Assist patients in scheduling appointments, follow-up care, referrals, and medication refills.</li><li>Clean and stock exam rooms to maintain par levels.</li><li>Maintain dental supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.</li><li>Provide diagnostic information by exposing and developing dental x-rays.</li><li>Fabricate temporary restorations or custom impressions from preliminary impressions.</li><li>Assist team to maintain proper clinic flow.</li><li>Participate in collaborative measures.</li><li>Follow and initiate policy for standing orders.</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Minimum Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>High School Diploma or GED.</li><li>Graduate of a Dental Assistant Program or Associates (A.A.)
