Description

Logistics Coordinator – Ready-Mixed Concrete Delivery We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team, ensuring the efficient scheduling and delivery of ready-mixed concrete to our valued customers across assigned markets. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where collaboration, precision, and proactive problem-solving are essential to delivering exceptional customer service and supporting operational excellence. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate the scheduling and dispatching of concrete deliveries to meet customer demands and delivery deadlines. Collaborate closely with Customer Service Representatives, sales teams, plant maintenance, safety personnel, and delivery professionals to ensure smooth operations. Monitor delivery progress and address any issues promptly to minimize delays and maintain high customer satisfaction. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, schedules, and related documentation. Ensure all activities comply with company safety, environmental policies, and procedures. Communicate effectively with team members and customers to provide updates and resolve any delivery-related concerns. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance delivery efficiency and service quality. Skills and Qualifications: Previous experience in logistics, transportation, or a related field preferred. Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with multiple teams and customers. Proactive problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy. Knowledge of safety and environmental policies relevant to logistics and transportation. Proficiency in using scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite.
