We are currently expanding our team of technicians and looking for a skilled mechanic to provide maintenance and repairs on various types of ground support equipment.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Service varying types of GSE which include but not limited to: aircraft jacks, hydraulic power units, ground power units, towing equipment and vehicles, engine slings and hoists, etc.</li>\n <li>Perform proof load testing on aircraft jacks and other lifting equipment</li>\n <li>Repair and rebuild hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems</li>\n <li>Troubleshoot issues or problems with equipment and determine repairs needed</li>\n <li>Verify proper operation of equipment in accordance with OEM manuals and testing procedures</li>\n <li>Calibrate varying gauges such as pressure gauges, temperature gauges, and flow meters</li>\n <li>Document all work performed and complete service reports</li>\n <li>Communicate with customers and answer questions on services performed</li>\n <li>Maintain a clean and safe shop</li>\n <li>Traveling to local and non-local customer facilities is required. Overnight trips across the USA happen frequently</li>\n <li>Perform other related duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Skills and Abilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to use common hand tools and power tools</li>\n <li>Ability to read and comprehend procedures in OEM and service manuals</li>\n <li>Mechanically inclined and detail oriented</li>\n <li>Must be computer literate and willing to learn how to use the company’s software systems</li>\n <li>Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment</li>\n <li>3+ years driving experience with a valid driver's license and acceptable driver history</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Physical Demands</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to lift 75 lbs</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Applicant must hold a valid driver’s license and be a U.S. Citizen or be a U.S. Permanent Resident.</p>\n<p>On the job training is provided. Mechanical experience of any kind is beneficial.
