Directs all plant operations with overall responsibilities for Safety, Quality, Logistics, Operations, Continuous Improvement, Maintenance and Employee Relations.</span></p>\n<p><span><strong><u>Essential functions of the job</u>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</strong></span></p>\n<p><span><u>The Plant Manager We Need:</u></span></p>\n<p><span>Change Leader | Energetic &amp; Collaborative in Leadership | Champion of Culture | Highly Motivated | Excellent Communicator | Outside of the Box Thinker | Innovative Problem Solver | Continuous Improvement Mindset</span></p>\n<p><span><strong><u>Responsibilities</u></strong></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Leads the Plant Management team directing and managing plant operations for production, technical, engineering, launch, quality, supply chain, IT and EHS.&nbsp;</span></li>\n <li><span>Manages and maintains the quality system; provides the resources necessary to maintain the quality system.&nbsp;</span></li>\n <li><span>Manages and maintains the Environmental Management System; provides the resources necessary to maintain the quality of the system.</span></li>\n <li><span>Conducts management reviews of the quality and EM system.&nbsp;</span></li>\n <li><span>Responsible for customer satisfaction.&nbsp;</span></li>\n <li><span>Responsible for the safety of employees, visitors, and contractors within the site.&nbsp;</span></li>\n <li><span>Ensures document and data control at the plant level.&nbsp;</span></li>\n <li><span>Coordinate plant activities through planning with departmental managers to ensure the total manufacturing objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost-effective manner.&nbsp;</span></li>\n <li><span>Manage policy deployment in areas of lean manufacturing techniques, quality, cost reduction, complete and on-time delivery, safety, customer satisfaction, employee relations and engagement, visual controls, and plant performance measures.&nbsp;</span></li>\n <li><span>Provides leadership for employee relations through effective communications, coaching, training, and development.&nbsp;</span></li>\n <li><span>Provides leadership for problem resolution to facilitate faster improvements and improved working relationships.&nbsp;</span></li>\n <li><span>Prepare the Plant Profit Plan with the assistance of the plant staff and submits the Plant Profit Plan to Vice President of Operations and CFO for review</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span><strong><u>Essential Job Duties:</u></strong></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Manage the operations within the plant with support from a cross functional staff of departmental managers</span></li>\n <li><span>Plan, organize and direct the manufacturing operation to ensure the most effective return on assets and obtainment of production schedules and overall business objectives</span></li>\n <li><span>Manage policy deployment in areas of lean manufacturing techniques, quality, cost reduction, complete and on-time delivery, safety, customer satisfaction, employee relations &amp; engagement, visual controls, and plant performance measures</span></li>\n <li><span>Create profit plan including budgets, personnel, and investment plans</span></li>\n <li><span>Control deviations from the planned “actual” values and introducing corrective measures</span></li>\n <li><span>Monitor daily &amp; monthly company directed KPI’s and report out to Regional Director in monthly MOR</span></li>\n <li><span>Provide root cause analysis of production and quality issues and make appropriate decisions based on risk analysis</span></li>\n <li><span>Assure that all corporate guidelines and procedures are adhered to</span></li>\n <li><span>Communicate regularly with direct reports and management and supervise their performance in all functions including performance evaluations</span></li>\n <li><span>Manage plant launch team to achieve corporate launch objectives</span></li>\n <li><span>Maintain high level of customer, community, and public relations in keeping with the corporate image</span></li>\n <li><span>Identify the needs for capital acquisition, gather information, and obtain appropriate approvals</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0.25in\">&nbsp;</p>\n<p><span><strong><u>Job Requirements:</u></strong></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or similar field</span></li>\n <li><span>Minimum 7 years’ experience with plant/department responsibilities</span></li>\n <li><span>7 years’ experience automotive manufacturing, plastic injection molding, or similar plant environment, some within a JIT environment</span></li>\n <li><span>Strong team building, decision making, communication and people management skills</span></li>\n <li><span>Familiarity with industry standard equipment and corresponding technical expertise</span></li>\n <li><span>Extensive experience working/communicating with customers and suppliers</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>",
