Our team aims to create more than a structure; we strive to build long-term relationships with both our employees and our clients.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Project Engineers at ICI are responsible for a wide range of responsibilities, both on-site and office based, from preconstruction through final closeout and <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">must be willing to travel</span>.  Extended travel to project sites throughout the US may be required.</p>\n<p><em><br></em></p>\n<p><em><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Some of the specific core responsibilities of a Project Engineer include:</span></em></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Works with the Project Team to develop, drive and implement project goals</li>\n<li>Participates in New Project Setup</li>\n<li>Assists and supports the Project Manager in preparing and processing Owner and Vendor Contracts</li>\n<li>Attends project meetings and prepares / distributes agendas and minutes in a timely manner</li>\n<li>Receives and Processes Design Documents</li>\n<li>Assists and supports the team developing site utilization programs</li>\n<li>Monitors compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and policies</li>\n<li>Assists and supports the team with procuring building permits and coordinating inspections</li>\n<li>Maintains Project Directory</li>\n<li>Maintains and coordinates submittal review, coordination, approval, and distribution of shop drawings, samples, etc.</li>\n<li>Maintains and distributes all project files </li>\n<li>Assists and supports the team with preparation and monitoring of RFI’s</li>\n<li>Maintains system to expedite construction materials, deliveries and equipment lists</li>\n<li>Assists and supports the team with change events, vendor estimates and proposals</li>\n<li>Prepares appropriate company estimates and proposals for changes</li>\n<li>Manages the punch list process</li>\n<li>Manages the Closeout Process </li>\n<li>Maintains open, responsive, and professional communication and relationships with all team members</li>\n<li>Maintains adherence to OSHA Standards of safety<br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><em><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Skills and Competencies:</span></em></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Understanding of basic construction technologies</li>\n<li>Ability to read and comprehend construction drawings</li>\n<li>Strong written and verbal skills</li>\n<li>Ability to take initiative</li>\n<li>Critical Thinking Skills</li>\n<li>Exhibit Flexibility and Resilience</li>\n<li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize effectively</li>\n<li>Flexible and adaptable team-player</li>\n<li>Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Procore Project Management System</li>\n<li>Maintain a professional appearance and manner</li>\n<li>Excellent effective time and self-management</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><em><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Certifications, Licenses &amp; Registration</span></em></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must have a valid driver’s license</li>\n<li>Ability to obtain the Walmart Safety, Employment, Waste, Stormwater Compliance Certification</li>\n<li>OSHA 30 Hour Certification or an ability to obtain</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><em><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Physical Requirements:</span></em></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Position requires walking on rough/uneven terrain, frequent pushing/pulling/carrying of equipment/objects/debris of varying and often awkward sizes, shapes, and weights, including bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing on the job site.</li>\n<li>Sitting, standing and walking for extended periods.
