    "requisitionDescription": "<div><p><br></p><p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Brief Summary:</strong></p><p>The Maintenance Supervisor supervises and trains electricians, electronic technicians, and millwrights in the plant<br>&nbsp;maintenance.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>&bull; Supervise a crew of millwrights, electricians, and electronic technicians in the maintenance of all functions of the plant.<br>&nbsp;&bull; Works with maintenance personnel, operating personnel, and other personnel to analyze problems and to reduce operating down time.<br>&nbsp;&bull; Works closely with operating personnel to solve problems or improve operating equipment.<br>&nbsp;&bull; Observes the total plant equipment for proper operation and maintenance.<br>&nbsp;&bull; Attending schools, classes, meetings, or seminars recommended by or scheduled by management.<br>&nbsp;&bull; Understands and follows Company policies.<br>&nbsp;&bull; Recommend employees whose performance and skill are worthy.<br>&nbsp;&bull; Accept added responsibility and assignments from management which may not be listed in this position&#39;s job description.<br>&nbsp;&bull; Responsible for helping establish a preventative maintenance program and recommending spare parts necessary for proper operation of this facility.<br>&nbsp;&bull; Instructs electricians, electronic technicians, millwrights, and other personnel on mechanical and electrical safety procedures.<br>&nbsp;&bull; Orders and maintains adequate supplies, equipment, and tools.<br>&nbsp;&bull; Evaluates and submits evaluation of employees under direct supervision.<br>&nbsp;&bull; Submits reports concerning equipment condition if repairs or replacement are needed.<br>&nbsp;&bull; Investigates accidents, injuries and incidents involving those supervised or in the area of supervision and submits report covering these occurrences.<br>&nbsp;&bull; Disciplines employees who do not follow this facility&rsquo;s rules and regulations, violate safety rules or who do not perform job functions.<br>&nbsp;&bull; Schedules employees work and vacation hours and posts schedules.<br>&nbsp;&bull; Report unsolved problems or changes in equipment or method of operation to the Maintenance Manager or other management</p><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><p>&bull; High School Diploma, OR Equivalency Certificate, (GED (General Education Degree))<br>&nbsp;&bull; Trade school or industrial apprenticeship in electric or electronic trades preferred<br>&nbsp;&bull; At least five (5) years&rsquo; experience as journeyman millwright, electrician, or electronic technician.<br>&nbsp;&bull; Ability to operate an industrial system computer.<br>&nbsp;&bull; Working knowledge of personnel policies and laws pertaining to Workers&rsquo; Compensation Insurance, OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Act) requirements, environmental laws and practices and industrial relations.<br>&nbsp;&bull; Familiarity with industrial procurement policies and practices.<br>&nbsp;&bull; Technical ability in maintenance of production equipment associated with ERW pipe manufacture.<br>&nbsp;&bull; Extensive training, academic background and experience in engineering, welding, and other applicable technical disciplines.<br>&nbsp;&bull; Moderate PC Skills in Microsoft Applications, i.e., MS Word, Excel<br>&nbsp;&bull; Able to read, write, speak, and understand English sufficiently to follow job and safety requirements.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong></p><p>&middot; While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand; walk; use hands to fingers, hands to feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk and hear.</p><p>&middot; The employee frequently is required to climb, balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and smell.
