Laurel, NJ office </strong>is seeking a<strong> Senior Construction Materials Testing Technician (CoMET) </strong>to join our growing team.<strong>  The Senior CoMET Technician</strong> will provide construction inspection and material testing services to a broad range of local and national clients.  This role offers a dynamic work environment, and the opportunity to build a career in the field of construction inspection and materials testing.</p>\n<p><strong><u>Responsibilities:</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform routine to complex inspection and testing of construction material in the field to verify conformance to construction plans and specifications.</li>\n <li>Prepare daily reports and data sheets and may be called upon to perform various tasks at the discretion of their supervisor.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Requirements and Qualifications:</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent required.</li>\n <li>Minimum 7+ years of soils inspection and testing experience.</li>\n <li>Certifications in the following are required:</li>\n <ul>\n  <li>ACI Concrete Field-Testing Technician-Grade 1.</li>\n  <li>ICC Certifications.</li>\n  <li>AWS Certified Welding Inspector.</li>\n  <li>Radiation Safety Training for operation of a nuclear density gauge.</li>\n </ul>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Demonstrate the ability to work unsupervised or as part of a team.</li>\n <li>Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills both in written and verbal.</li>\n <li>Proficient in using a tablet.</li>\n <li>General knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel, Outlook required.</li>\n <li>Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.</li>\n <li>Willingness to travel.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Following an offer, candidates will be required to satisfactorily complete employment reference checks, verification of professional licensure and/or educational credentials, a motor vehicle report (MVR), and a comprehensive background check.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Move Forward with Kleinfelder</strong></p>\n<p>Kleinfelder has been connecting great people to the best work since 1961.
