This role contributes to mission-focused systems engineering and integration efforts by enabling stronger technical baselines, model-informed decision-making, and disciplined engineering execution. The position is suited for an engineer who can work across digital engineering tools, requirements, and technical collaboration in support of complex government systems.</p>\n<h2>Role/Responsibilities/Qualifications</h2>\n<p>This role supports digital engineering implementation across systems engineering products, model-based development, and technical reviews. The Digital Engineer will help translate requirements into coherent engineering artifacts and support collaborative execution across government and partner teams.</p>\n<p><strong>Key responsibilities include:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Create, integrate, and apply interdisciplinary digital models from concept through the product lifecycle</li>\n <li>Develop systems engineering products in support of DoD or government systems</li>\n <li>Produce technical specifications, interface control documents, and system architecture artifacts using MBSE practices</li>\n <li>Use digital engineering tools such as Cameo or MagicDraw, SparxEA, DOORS, or IBM Rhapsody to support program needs</li>\n <li>Perform systems engineering analysis to inform technical planning, design, and integration</li>\n <li>Support design reviews and requirements verification activities</li>\n <li>Collaborate with government clients, FFRDCs, and partner teams to achieve program goals</li>\n <li>Develop innovative solutions to complex technical problems with limited direction</li>\n <li>Contribute to engineering rigor across model development, technical baselines, and lifecycle execution</li>\n <li>Mentor team members and support strong multidisciplinary coordination where needed</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>5+ years of experience with large-scale missions and systems engineering and integration</li>\n <li>3+ years of experience performing systems engineering analysis and developing systems engineering products for DoD or government systems</li>\n <li>3+ years of experience with practical MBSE for development of technical specifications, interface control documents, and system architecture</li>\n <li>Experience using digital engineering tools such as Cameo or MagicDraw, SparxEA, DOORS, or IBM Rhapsody</li>\n <li>Ability to perform multiple systems engineering and program management functions in support of design reviews and requirements verification</li>\n <li>Ability to communicate and establish collaborative relationships with government clients, FFRDCs, and partner teammates to achieve program goals</li>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics field</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Desired Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience with model-based verification and validation</li>\n <li>Experience with MATLAB, STK, ModelCenter, or TeamCenter</li>\n <li>Experience analyzing and translating system requirements into design</li>\n <li>Knowledge of Systems Modeling Language and DoD Architecture Framework</li>\n <li>Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve technical risks and issues, develop technical reports, and collaborate with stakeholders to implement recommended solutions</li>\n <li>Master’s degree in Engineering</li>\n <li>OMG Certified Systems Modeling Professional Certification</li>\n <li>INCOSE Systems Engineering certification</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Clearance & Additional Requirements</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Active Secret clearance</li>\n <li>Active TS/SCI clearance is desired</li>\n <li>All positions require at least 2-3 days per week on site; meetings and schedules may require additional on-site support</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Location</strong>El Segundo, California and optionally Aurora, CO</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Compensation:</strong></p>\n<p>The typical annual salary range for this position is approximately, USD $115,000 - $143,000. Individual pay is determined by many factors including work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. In addition to salary, this position is also eligible for a discretionary annual performance bonus, profit sharing / retirement plan and other benefits (all in addition to annual base salary).</p>\n<h2>Deliverable(s)</h2>\n<p>Deliverables could be in the format of a report, software file, briefing, spreadsheet, or other document as directed by the Government, using government approved and/or mandated systems/software and processes governed by guidance/instructions/policy or direction.
