This role ensures production efficiency, product quality, and adherence to safety standards in a manufacturing environment.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Set up and operate robotic welding systems and related equipment</li><li>Load and unload parts into robotic welding fixtures</li><li>Monitor welding processes to ensure consistent quality and performance</li><li>Perform basic programming adjustments and teach points as needed</li><li>Inspect completed welds using measuring tools, gauges, and visual checks</li><li>Troubleshoot &nbsp;and resolve minor mechanical or programming issues</li><li>Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of robotic welding equipment</li><li>Maintain production and quality records accurately</li><li>Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of PPE</li><li>Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams on process improvements</li></ul><p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>High school diploma or GED required</li><li>Previous experience in robotic welding or manufacturing preferred</li><li>Basic understanding of welding processes (MIG, TIG, or spot welding)</li><li>Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and work instructions</li><li>Familiarity with robotic systems (e.g., FANUC, ABB, Motoman) is a plus</li><li>Strong attention to detail and quality control</li></ul><p><strong>Skills &amp; Competencies</strong></p><ul><li>Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills</li><li>Basic computer and programming skills</li><li>Ability to work independently and in a team environment</li><li>Strong problem-solving abilities</li><li>Good communication and organizational skills</li></ul><p><strong>Physical Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Ability to stand for extended periods</li><li>Lift up to 50 lbs as needed</li><li>Work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, heat, and fumes (with &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;proper PPE)</li></ul><p><strong>Work Environment</strong></p><ul><li>Manufacturing/production facility</li><li>1st shift 6:00-2:30</li><li>Requires adherence to strict safety standards</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Technical certification in welding or robotics</li><li>Experience with robotic programming or PLC basics</li><li>Previous experience in automotive or heavy manufacturing industries</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Premier Marine offers a comprehensive total rewards package designed to support employees’ health, well-being, and growth.
