All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability or veteran status.</p>\n<h2>Duties, Responsibilities & Other</h2>\n<p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities*: </strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>This position is Survey Party Chief which requires a minimum of 4 – 8 years of land surveying field experience using numerous types of survey instruments (GPS, Robotic total stations, data collectors, digital levels, etc.). </li>\n <li>Prior experience working with Trimble TSC3 and TSC7 or TSC5 data collectors and software a plus.</li>\n <li>Prior experience working on DOT survey and SUE projects a plus. </li>\n <li>Prior experience with construction layout a plus.</li>\n <li> Select and implement proper maintenance of traffic signage and follow safety precautions.</li>\n <li> Candidate may be required to operate a survey truck in a responsible manner and keep truck and related equipment clean and in proper working condition.</li>\n <li>Supervise and operate all survey field equipment, give instrument operator guidance as needed to complete work tasks.</li>\n <li>Ability to download and transmit data to and from the office. </li>\n <li>Keep legible accurate and complete field notes & sketches.</li>\n <li>Supervise the assigned two- or three-person survey crew.</li>\n <li>Participate in monthly safety meetings, help identify potential safety hazards and create a corrective action plan when safety hazards are recognized before they become an issue.</li>\n <li>Hold a valid current driver’s license.</li>\n <li>Ability to follow instructions, and train and mentor crews with a positive can-do attitude are necessities.</li>\n <li>Must possess leadership and mentoring skills.</li>\n <li>Must be able to lift 50 pounds, walk for extended periods, work in all weather conditions.</li>\n <li>Willing to work long days, out of town, evenings/weekends when required.</li>\n <li>Willing to travel for overnight and extended stay projects as required.</li>\n <li>Perform other duties as assigned by survey manager.</li>\n</ul>\n<h4><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></h4>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Project Execution:</strong>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Accurately record and report daily forms per project requirements.</li>\n   <li>Adhere to project scope, schedule, and budget.</li>\n   <li>Review all work assigned before beginning and ensure all tasks are performed according to applicable industry standards and client requirements.</li>\n   <li>Inspect and correct work for completeness and accuracy before submission.</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li><strong>Communication:</strong>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Effectively communicate with clients, contractors, staff, and supervisors to ensure alignment on project goals and requirements.</li>\n   <li>Clearly communicate workflow needs to your team and supervisor.</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li><strong>Compliance:</strong>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Understand and follow OSHA Safety Standards and KCI corporate policies at all times.</li>\n   <li>Review job site safety daily and take immediate action to document and resolve issues.</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li><strong>Team Collaboration:</strong>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Participate in cross-training as requested to enhance team capabilities.</li>\n   <li>Work collaboratively with your team to maximize production and accuracy.</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li><strong>Other Tasks:</strong>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Submit accurate time sheets, mileage, and expense reports on time each week.</li>\n   <li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<p><em>* Essential Duties and Responsibilities are the basic job functions that an employee must be able to perform, with or without reasonable accommodation. </em></p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Education and/or Skills Required: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience</li>\n <li>Highschool Diploma/GED</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Certificates, licenses, and/or Registrations Required: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Valid Driver’s License</li>\n <li>Ability to maintain required certifications.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Pre-employment drug screening is a condition of employment.
