    "requisitionDescription": "<div><p style='margin:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;font-size:16px;font-family:\"CG Times\",serif;' id=\"isPasted\"><span style=\"color:#262626;\">Wayne HealthSports is seeking a dedicated</span> full-time Athletic Trainer to join our sports medicine team. <span style=\"color:#262626;\">The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive care for student-athletes, preventing injuries, evaluating and treating injuries, and promoting overall physical health and wellness. This role reports to Sports Medicine Manager and Director of Rehab Serv.</span></p><p style='margin:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;font-size:16px;font-family:\"CG Times\",serif;'><span style='font-family:\"Times New Roman\",serif;'>&nbsp;</span></p><p style='margin:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;font-size:16px;font-family:\"CG Times\",serif;'><strong><u><span style='font-family:\"Times New Roman\",serif;'>Qualifications:</span></u></strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Athletic Training required, Masters preferred.</li><li>Certification by the Board of Certification (BOC) for Athletic Trainers</li><li>Athletic Trainer licensure in Ohio</li><li><span style=\"color:#292929;\">Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certification</span></li><li><span style=\"color:#292929;\">Previous experience working as an athletic trainer at the high school level preferred</span></li><li>Knowledge of injury prevention, rehabilitation, and emergency medical procedures</li><li>Knowledge of sports psychology and general health and wellness practices</li><li>Ability to perform physical tasks related to the care of the student-athletes</li></ul><p style='margin:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;font-size:16px;font-family:\"CG Times\",serif;margin-left:.5in;vertical-align:baseline;'>&nbsp;</p><p style='margin:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;font-size:16px;font-family:\"CG Times\",serif;'><strong><u><span style='font-family:\"Times New Roman\",serif;'>Responsibility:</span></u></strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Expected to travel and attend functions at various locations both within and external to the hospital such as athletic events.</li><li>Provide first aid and immediate medical attention for athletic injuries and conditions.</li><li>Maintain accurate records and reports, including documentation of injuries, treatments and rehabilitation programs.</li><li>Ensure proper use of athletic equipment and facilities to minimize risk of injury.</li><li>Communicates with athletes, coaches, parents and school staff when needed.</li><li>Provide educational resources about injury prevention, emergency protocols, and health and wellness.</li><li>Provide injury assessments and care during practices, games, and other athletic events.</li><li>Offer injury prevention, rehabilitation services, recovery plans to athletes, parents and coaches.</li><li>Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.</li></ul></div>\n",
