Works most closely with the following internal staff to effectively meet our resident&rsquo;s needs: Charge Nurses, NACs, Lead Housekeeper, and other Dietary staff. The main external customer contact will include: Residents and their families and friends, Volunteers, and Food Vendors.&nbsp;</p><p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>Starting wage is $17.75/hr. up to $21.61 depending on related experience as determined by Supervisor and HR</strong>.&nbsp;</p><p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday 1:30pm-5:30pm or until work list is completed</strong></p><p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>*Weekend Availability required*&nbsp;</strong></p><p style=\"text-align: left;\"><br><strong>&nbsp;Some fun things you&rsquo;ll do:</strong></p><ul><li style=\"text-align: left;\">Required to engage in preparing foods or institutional setting</li><li style=\"text-align: left;\">May be required to wash, peel, cut and seed vegetables and fruit</li><li style=\"text-align: left;\">Cleans, cuts and grinds meats, poultry and seafood</li><li style=\"text-align: left;\">May be required to weigh and measure designated ingredients for recipe</li><li style=\"text-align: left;\">Prepare and label salads, desserts and other side dishes</li><li style=\"text-align: left;\">Assists Dietary Cook in preparation of meals</li><li style=\"text-align: left;\">May be required to prepare coffee and hot water</li><li style=\"text-align: left;\">May be required to ensure liquids are thickened properly and served at proper temperature</li><li style=\"text-align: left;\">May be required to wash all pots and knives used</li><li style=\"text-align: left;\">May be required to prepare trays for residents and ensure their accuracy in terms of diet and thickness of liquid</li><li style=\"text-align: left;\">Assist in taking out the garbage and cleaning of work area at the end of the shift</li><li style=\"text-align: left;\">Employee is required to handle food throughout the day</li><li style=\"text-align: left;\">Employee must be able to be on feet all day</li><li style=\"text-align: left;\">Must be able to keep pace with a busy kitchen to ensure food is prepared and ready for serving on time</li><li style=\"text-align: left;\">May also assist residents to eat in dining rooms as regulations allow</li></ul><p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>We are looking for:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"text-align: left;\">Someone who shares our dedication and compassion to those in our care.</li><li style=\"text-align: left;\">Someone who is enthusiastic about preparing food and working in a kitchen setting</li><li style=\"text-align: left;\">Someone who has enthusiasm for fun and client engagement/interactions</li><li style=\"text-align: left;\">Someone who can keep pace with a busy kitchen staff to ensure food is prepared and ready</li><li style=\"text-align: left;\">Someone who can be on their feet for their entire shift</li><li style=\"text-align: left;\">Someone who is very task driven and a good team player</li><li style=\"text-align: left;\">Good verbal and written communication skills.</li></ul><p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>About our organization</strong></p><ul><li style=\"text-align: left;\">Martha and Mary has been caring for children, seniors and families in Greater Kitsap for over 130 years.
