This senior-level role is ideal for an engineer ready to take full ownership of project delivery, strengthen and expand client relationships, and help drive the continued growth of our practice.</p><p>At KPFF, you’ll manage diverse projects from start to finish, mentor a talented team, and play an active role in developing new business, all while leveraging KPFF’s strong reputation in the AEC industry. As you grow with us, you’ll also have opportunities to pursue pathways to ownership, reflecting our commitment to rewarding leadership and long-term contributions.</p><p>This is a hybrid role, with an expectation of being in the office three days a week&#xa0;for client meetings, collaboration, and professional development. While we offer flexibility, this is not a fully remote position. For a Project Manager, in-person time is especially important for building client trust, mentoring staff, and strengthening team relationships.</p><p><strong>What You’ll Be Doing</strong></p><ul><li>Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring strong relationships and successful project outcomes.</li><li>Lead project delivery from proposal to completion, managing schedules, budgets, contracts, and quality.</li><li>Drive business development by pursuing new opportunities, writing proposals, and expanding KPFF’s client base.</li><li>Oversee and review technical design work for site development and infrastructure projects.</li><li>Navigate New York and New Jersey permitting, zoning, and agency coordination (e.g., DOB, DEP, DOT, and local utilities) to ensure compliance and smooth approvals.</li><li>Collaborate with contractors, consultants, and public agencies to coordinate all aspects of project execution.</li><li>Mentor, train, and guide engineers at all levels, fostering technical excellence and professional growth.</li><li>Represent KPFF in client meetings, industry events, and professional organizations, contributing to the growth and visibility of the New York office.</li></ul>",
