    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><div><p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Job Title:</strong> Toolmaker I</p><p><strong>Location:&nbsp;</strong>Loveland</p><p><strong>Department:&nbsp;</strong>Tooling</p><p><strong>Reports to:&nbsp;</strong>Tooling Manager <strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Effective Date:&nbsp;</strong>December 10, 2025</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Job Summary:</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\"><em>Troubleshoot and maintain magnesium injection molds, practice predictive and preventative maintenance, have familiarity with standard tool room equipment, and maintain thorough and accurate tool maintenance records.</em></p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Supervisory Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>None</li></ul><p><strong>Duties/Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>&nbsp;</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Maintains and repairs injection molds to support production requirements of a multi-shift, molding and machining facility.</li><li>Repairs cavities and cores due to damage or wear.</li><li>Completes engineering changes and revisions to injection molds with support from level 2 or 3 toolmakers.</li><li>Manufacture and/or replace tooling components with minimal supervision and a high degree of accuracy and competency.&nbsp;</li><li>Maintain accurate mold history/records.&nbsp;</li><li>Builds fixtures and gages as needed (with support from level 2 or 3 tool makers).</li><li>Observes all health and safety requirements and maintains work area in a neat and orderly condition.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Required Skills/Abilities:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodations.</li><li>Must have basic understanding of mold components, A side cavity, B side core, EJ pins, core pins, slide locks, angle pins, etc.</li><li>Must have basic understanding of Cartesian coordinate systems, cutting tools, and tool holding principles.&nbsp;</li><li>Must have intermediate print reading skills and a working knowledge of GD&amp;T.</li><li>Must have familiarity of tool room equipment; CNC milling, surface grinders, surface grinder wheel dressing, Lathe, Sine chuck, spin fixtures, sinker EDM etc. &nbsp;&lsquo;</li><li>Must have knowledge of mold polishing.</li><li>Can act as back up for PM Tooling when required.</li><li>Ability to set up and operate lathes, milling machines, electrical discharge machines, and surface grinders as needed.</li><li>Ability to competently use calipers, micrometers, and other handheld measuring tools typical to a machine shop environment.</li><li>Must have basic understanding of Metallurgy, types of steels, and materials that may be used in an injection mold.</li><li>Must have basic ability to 3D model and create CNC programming for simple mold components (date pins, engraving, etc.).</li><li>Preferred experience in Solidworks and solid CAM software.</li><li>Successful completion of Fundamentals of IM.</li><li>Successful completion of Technology of IM - Level 1 Skill Builder Simulation.</li><li>Successful completion of Technology of IM - Level 2 Skill Builder Simulation.</li><li>Ability to read and write English and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals and blueprint reading.</li><li>Ability to use advanced shop math, precision measuring instruments and blueprints.</li><li>Ability to get along with coworkers and work in a team environment.</li><li>Experience with stoning and polishing of mold components. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Education and Experience:</strong></p><ul><li>High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.</li><li>1-3 years of experience in tool room or job shop machining environment (or equivalent experience) Must meet all requirements for Level 2 CNC Technician.</li><li>Technical degree preferred but not required.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Physical Demands:</strong></p><ul><li>Moderate physical demand working frequently with medium weight material and occasionally with heavy weight material.</li><li><em>Must be able to work standing for extended periods of time and maintain dexterity when handling tooling components.&nbsp;</em></li></ul></div></div></div></div></div>\n<br/>1st Shift; 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM",
