Job Summary Job Title: Breast Plastic Surgeon Work Site: Vancouver General Hospital Status: Full-Time Start Date: October 1, 2026 Compensation Type: Clinical Service Contract Come work as a Breast Plastic Surgeon with Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH)! The UBC Division of Plastic Surgery is accepting applications for a full-time permanent position in breast reconstruction. Applicants must have subspecialty fellowship training in breast reconstruction, including microsurgical reconstruction. The successful candidate will be expected to cover full time general plastic surgery call within the division. Training and/or experience in lymphedema surgery will be an asset. Applicants must be certified in Plastic Surgery by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons (Canada), and be eligible for licensure by the BC College of Physicians and Surgeons. The successful applicant must qualify for an UBC clinical appointment and will be expected to be involved in teaching at all levels. Available resources include access to the main Operating Room, Minor Treatment Room, and a hospital based hand clinic. Qualifications Education, Licensing, & Experience : Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) – Mandatory Current College of Physicians of BC (CPSBC) - Full Canadian College of Family Practitioners (CCFP) – Mandatory Emergency Experience – Mandatory Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) - Mandatory Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC) - Mandatory Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada (FRCSC) – Mandatory Surgical Skills - Mandatory Closing Statement Interested in applying?
