    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Teaching Assistant Level 3 Apprenticeship (SEND Pathway) at Lordship Lane Primary School</span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We are seeking enthusiastic and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant Apprentices to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about supporting children with additional needs and are eager to develop their skills within a specialist educational setting.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Apprenticeship Overview:</span></span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Salary: </span>£8 an hour, <em>Automatic pay increase after one year on programme for 19+ year olds</em></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Working Week: </span>Monday – Friday 8.30am – 3.30 (1 hour lunch break)</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Hours:</span> 30 hours per week</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Duration: </span>18 months</li>\n<li>Level 3 Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship standard qualification</li>\n<li>Online training supported by our dedicated tutor</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Location:</span> Lordship Lane Primary School, Ellenborough Road, London, Wood green, N22 5PS</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What you’ll do at work</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>To support pupils with EHCPs and challenging behaviour in class</li>\n<li>Plan and run school supported interventions with individuals or groups</li>\n<li>Adapt support according to individual needs</li>\n<li>Look after children's physical, social and emotional welfare</li>\n<li>Create a stimulating environment</li>\n<li>Keep records and attend review meetings</li>\n<li>Work with professionals such as speech and language therapists and educational psychologist</li>\n<li>Provide a safe and healthy environment and follow safeguarding procedures</li>\n<li>Work with class teachers to raise the learning and attainment of pupils</li>\n<li>Promote pupils’ independence, self-esteem and social inclusion</li>\n<li>Give support to pupils, individually or in groups, so they can access the curriculum, take part in learning and experience a sense of achievement</li>\n<li>Support with planning, preparation and resourcing for lessons</li>\n<li>To support the pastoral team with wellbeing and behaviour</li>\n<li>Attend school training sessions and take ownership of professional development</li>\n<li>To cover for any absent teaching assistant colleagues and undertake any duties assigned by SLT consistent with the aims of the post</li>\n<li>To help maintain a high quality learning environment</li>\n<li>To supervise lunch and play with pupils if needed, ensuring a high standard of behaviour at all time</li>\n<li>To manage and treat basic first aid to pupils in line with school procedures</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Desired qualifications</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>GCSE English (Grade A*-C/9-4 or Level 2 equivalent) desirable</li>\n<li>GCSE Maths (Grade A*-C/9-4 or Level 2 equivalent) desirable</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Skills</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p>             </p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>Attention to detail</li>\n<li>Communication skills</li>\n<li>Organisation skills</li>\n<li>Customer care skills</li>\n<li>Problem solving skills</li>\n<li>Logical</li>\n<li>Team working</li>\n<li>Creative</li>\n<li>Initiative</li>\n<li>Non judgemental</li>\n<li>Patience</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Other requirements</span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n<li>Pre-employment checks.
