      "Value": "<strong>Quality Technician II - Litchfield, MN</strong><br><br><strong>Job Description</strong><br>To provide support to the Quality areas.<br><br><strong>Working Relationships:&nbsp;</strong> The Quality Technician position will work closely on a day-to-day basis with the Production Supervisor/Lead, Inventory Supervisor, and Quality Lead &amp; Manager as well as vendors and customers working with Litchfield.&nbsp; Project a positive image to all customers and individuals working with Litchfield. Provide input to increase efficiency, accountability, or other aspects of quality. The position reports directly to the Quality Supervisor. Scheduling will include working weekends to support production that works 24/7.<br><br><strong>Responsibilities and Duties:</strong><ul><li>Sampling, testing, and reporting results as necessary. Re-testing, monitoring, and filing all deviations and laboratory results.</li><li>Maintaining stocks and supplies for laboratory devices and equipment.</li><li>Suggest, create, and increase efficiency for various test methods and laboratory practices.</li><li>Maintain lab equipment in good condition and proper calibration.</li><li>Provide support for Manufacturing related to on-line testing or production controls.</li><li>Updating, revising, reviewing, and implementing GMPs at Litchfield.</li><li>Assisting R&amp;D projects and customers with laboratory capabilities and resources.</li><li>Assist in developing budget items and cost analysis for all lab tests and supplies.</li><li>Maintain adequate reserve samples and sample retain system.</li><li>Initiate and collect cleaning samples as assigned.</li><li>Issuance of Batch Records, labels, and other manufacturing documents; including reviews.</li><li>Approve raw materials and product contact packaging for use in production.</li><li>Review and file raw material COA’s.</li><li>Provide support to warehouse regarding materials handling and approval.</li><li>Assist in training for manufacturing personnel for GMO and documents as appropriate.</li><li>Review and audit Batch Records.</li><li>Remedy discrepancies and perform investigations for issues concerning the status of all materials handled at Litchfield.</li><li>Assist in developing new Batch Records for customers and revise as appropriate.</li><li>Monitoar on-line testing equipment as directed by supervisors.</li><li>Perform raw materials analysis when required.</li><li>Assist with status of all materials handled at Litchfield. (Kosher, Halal, Allergen, Organic, Gluten Free, Non-GMO, etc.)</li><li>Perform and assist with scheduled audits and internal inspections.</li><li>Ensure SDS documentation is available for raw materials and chemicals used on site.</li><li>Enforce documents, GMPS, HACCP, Food Safety, Food Defense, Allergen, Food Safety Culture, and company policies.</li><li>Report suspicious activity or unusual observations to Management</li><li>Follow proper SOP’s, cGMPs, HAACP, Food Safety, Food Defense, Allergen, Food&nbsp; Safety Culture, and company policies.</li><li>Other duties as assigned by management.</li></ul>Occasi of shift&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Regularly = 41-60% of shift&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Frequently = 60-90% of shift&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; C of shift<br><br><strong>Quality Control Requirements</strong><ul><li>Appreciation for cleanliness and sanitation, keeping work area clean and organized.</li><li>Knowledge of and ability to follow and enforce all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).</li><li>Understanding of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) and its importance.</li><li>Maintain and enforce all Safe Quality Food (SQF) guidelines.</li><li>Maintain excellent personal hygiene and wear appropriate apparel for the job.</li></ul><strong>Safety Requirements</strong><ul><li>Be aware of and follow up to date OSHA regulations that apply to the tasks in your job.</li><li>Practice safe lifting techniques, bending and lifting with your legs not your back.</li><li>Pivot with your feet avoiding twisting at the waist.</li><li>Be aware of your surroundings, watching for forklift traffic and trip hazards such as pallets or cords.</li><li>Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for the job you are doing.</li><li>Never operate equipment for which you have not been properly trained or certified for.</li></ul><strong>Education/Certifications</strong><ul><li>High School Diploma or Equivalent</li></ul><div>Excited about this role but don’t think you meet every requirement listed?
