    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Our Profile</span></p>\n<p>In 2020, G Mining Ventures (GMIN) was created to acquire direct ownership of projects and capitalize on the value uplift that successful mine development offers. In July 2024, GMIN acquired the Oko West project. The Oko West Project is a new gold discovery in northwest Guyana. It is located south of the historical “Oko” gold district, some 95 km west of Georgetown.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Kitchen Supervisor</span></p>\n<p>The Kitchen Supervisor will oversee the day-to-day operations of the kitchen on a mine site. This role involves supervising kitchen staff, ensuring high standards of food safety and hygiene, managing meal service delivery, and supporting the Head Chef in executing menu plans and production schedules.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Supervise and coordinate activities of kitchen staff during food preparation and service</li>\n<li>Ensure all food is prepared, cooked, and presented according to company standards</li>\n<li>Monitor food quality, portion sizes, and presentation.</li>\n<li>Maintain cleanliness and organization in all kitchen areas in compliance with health and safety regulations.</li>\n<li>Assist in training new kitchen staff and ongoing skill development for the team.</li>\n<li>Manage inventory levels, check deliveries, and report shortages or issues.</li>\n<li>Ensure proper food storage and labeling practices.</li>\n<li>Monitor equipment and report any maintenance needs.</li>\n<li>Work closely with chefs and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations.</li>\n<li>Assist in planning menus and specials as needed.</li>\n<li>Enforce proper kitchen policies and procedures, including punctuality and hygiene standards.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications/Skills and Experience</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience in the kitchen, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role</li>\n<li>Sound knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards<br></li>\n<li>Ability to multitask and stay calm in a fast-paced, remote working environment</li>\n<li>Food Safety Handling Certificate would be an asset</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Working Conditions</span></p>\n<p>Position based at the OKO Project site.<br>Work Schedule – 14 days on/7 days Off<br>Transport, accommodations, and meals provided on site.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Compensation Package</span></p>\n<p>1-year contract for the construction period, with the possibility of a permanent position once the mine is in operation.<br>Competitive Salary<br>Competitive benefits, bonus and group insurances.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>",
