This is a hands-on role supporting manufacturing and supplier quality activities, with a direct impact on the reliability and performance of our systems. You will play a key role in ensuring components and materials meet the high standards required for our advanced water and lithium processing technologies, while developing your skills in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.</p><p><strong>Your main tasks will include:</strong></p><ul><li>Performing receiving, in-process, and final inspections on purchased parts at Saltworks and, when required, at supplier sites.</li><li>Conducting dimensional and visual inspections on welded fabrications, base materials, coatings, and plastic or fiberglass components using standard measurement tools.</li><li>Verifying conformance to drawings, specifications, and ITPs, and maintaining clear, traceable inspection records (measurements, photos, and checklists).</li><li>Identifying and controlling nonconforming material, and supporting NCRs through to resolution, including corrective action follow-up.</li><li>Coordinating inspection activities, communicating status, and helping clarify requirements to prevent quality issues.</li><li>Maintaining calibration records and inspection equipment inventory.</li><li>Contributing to audits, root-cause investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives through data collection and practical recommendations.</li><li>Participating in Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) and functional testing by witnessing inspections and confirming completion of test documentation.</li></ul><p><strong>You will be a great fit if you have:</strong></p><ul><li>Post-secondary technical education in science, engineering, or quality.</li><li>3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial quality environment.</li><li>Solid understanding of dimensional measurement and quality standards.</li><li>The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.</li><li>Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly document and explain technical information.</li><li>A proactive mindset and willingness to learn and grow within a developing quality team.</li><li>A Hands-on, collaborative approach and comfort working in a production environment.</li><li><strong>Valid passport and the ability to travel internationally as required.</strong></li></ul><p><strong>Bonus qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Experience with weld inspections on structural steel or ASME pressure vessels and piping.</li><li style=\"margin-bottom:11px;\">Quality certifications and training such as<ul><li>ASQ Certified Quality Technician (CQT) or Certified Quality Inspector</li><li>ISO 9001 - 2015 training or internal inspector certification.</li></ul></li></ul><p><strong>Why join Saltworks?</strong></p><p>At Saltworks, you'll collaborate with talented colleagues to solve complex, real-world problems – designing and delivering innovative water treatment and lithium refining systems for some of the world's most recognized companies.
