The LPN collaborates with physicians, other health care providers, and the Interdisciplinary Team, as needed, to address client advanced medical needs. The LPN works within the framework of AID&rsquo;s policies and procedures to assure that accreditation standards and regulatory requirements pertaining to advanced medical services are met in all program locations assigned. The LPN is expected to participate in providing personal care to individuals as needed, including but not limited to dressing, toileting, bathing, etc. The LPN will assure client rights, dignity, and privacy are maintained while providing services; they participate in maintaining a clean and safe environment for the individuals supported. The LPN may work with clients with maladaptive behaviors, which can include but are not limited to verbal aggression, physical aggression, self-injurious behavior, property destruction, and elopement.
