    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong><u>Primary Duties &amp; Responsibilities</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead definition and development of <strong>new and novel III‑V process nodes</strong> for InP and GaAs technologies.</li>\n <li>Drive unit process development across epitaxy (MBE/MOCVD), lithography, etch, deposition, CMP, implant, and backend steps.</li>\n <li>Lead process technology transfers during development bringing to volume manufacturing.</li>\n <li>Partner closely with <strong>Process Engineering, Equipment Engineering, R&amp;D, Quality, and Operations</strong>.</li>\n <li>Lead external collaborations with <strong>equipment suppliers, material vendors, and research partners</strong>.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Education &amp; Experience</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Master’s or PhD in a relevant discipline.</li>\n <li>Expertise in MOCVD/MBE epitaxy, III‑V device fabrication, or photonics/RF process integration.</li>\n <li>Experience in tool evaluations, technology insertion, and supplier joint development programs.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Skills</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>10&amp;#43; years of experience</strong> in semiconductor process engineering or technology development.</li>\n <li>Deep knowledge of <strong>III‑V semiconductor processing</strong>—InP, GaAs, or related compound semiconductors.</li>\n <li>Proven record of improving throughput, stability, and yield in complex fab environments.</li>\n <li>Strong command of DOE, SPC, and data analysis tools (JMP, Minitab).</li>\n <li>Experience leading multi‑disciplinary technical programs and vendor engagements.</li>\n <li>Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Working Conditions</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Cleanroom Environment.</li>\n <li>Some travel needed.</li>\n <li>Contribute to breakthrough III‑V semiconductor technologies.</li>\n <li>Influence long‑term technology roadmaps and manufacturing capability.</li>\n <li>Work with advanced processes, tools, and cross‑functional teams.</li>\n <li>High visibility and significant technical ownership.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Physical Requirements</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be able to sit/stand for long periods of time up to 4 hours at a time.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Must be able to adorn clean room attire and go into cleanroom if needed</li>\n <li>Must be able to with or without accommodation use office equipment</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Safety Requirements</u></strong></p>\n<p>All employees are required to follow the site EHS procedures and Coherent Corp.
