You will be supporting the Office of the Inspector General (OIG) for the Department of Defense (DOD).</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What will I be doing?</span> Using your expertise as a Program Analyst</span><span>, you will be providing support by defining, documenting, and recommending changes in line with best practices to improve processes, planning and implementation. You will also be </span>assisting with the IT organizational changes that require additional mapping and processes. In addition, you will:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist with creating, reviewing, editing, and updating SOPs, communication plans, control plans, project documents, charters, instructions, or other documents</li>\n<li>Map assigned business processes, validate and update existing business process maps</li>\n<li>Provide mapping support for additional component and organizational realignments</li>\n<li>Provide root cause analysis of process issues</li>\n<li>Assist in all CPI project phases as assigned</li>\n<li>Provide information, research, and recommendations</li>\n<li>Assist in establishing Corrective Action Request (CAR) processes</li>\n<li>Assist with creation of implementation schedule and strategy of potential improvements</li>\n<li>Support projects and assist in tracking their progress</li>\n<li>Attend project and stakeholder meetings</li>\n<li>Assist with the development and creation of electronic libraries and indexing structures</li>\n<li>Facilitate process improvement workshops</li>\n<li>Provide support to accomplish After Action Review (AAR) sessions aimed at documenting lessons learned</li>\n<li>Design and maintain database and SharePoint pages to support approved process improvements</li>\n<li>Assist with strategic and tactical planning support</li>\n<li>Other duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What experience, training, and education do I need?</span></p>\n<p><span>You must meet the <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">minimum</span> requirements:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Secret Clearance</span></li>\n<li><span>2+ years of experience in planning and process improvement, business process re-engineering, logistics, supply chain, or similar</span></li>\n<li><span>Experience in program planning and process improvement</span></li>\n<li><span>AS or AA degree or equivalent, BS / BA highly desired</span></li>\n<li><span>Proficiency in all Microsoft Office products and Visio or other mapping tools</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>The following experience is preferred:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Six Sigma certification</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Where is the client site that I would be working for? </span>You will be working in Alexandria, VA. Address disclosed after your clearance is verified.
