We would like to hire someone interested in a career, not a job, who wants to do the work and be recognized for a job well done!</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Roboto\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Roboto; font-weight: bold\">The Role – Service Technician - Technology</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Roboto\">The Service Technician is responsible for the technical repair and service work for a wide range of low voltage systems.<span>  </span>They provide diagnostic review, repair, and replacement of parts as well as the replacement and installation of equipment. </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Roboto\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Roboto\">Key responsibilities include diagnosing issues, performing system upgrades, managing inventories of tech equipment, and assisting with software installations and updates. This role requires proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software problems, customer service skills, and a strong understanding of technology tools. A strong focus on communication and problem-solving is essential in this role. </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Roboto\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Roboto; font-weight: bold\">What You'll Do as a Service Technician - Technology</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Roboto\">Assists with maintaining customer relationships based on dependability and honesty.<span>  </span>Ensures that long term customer relationships are protected by providing value added services and effective communication, bridges communications between customer’s personnel and Suburban’s team members.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Roboto\">Functions in all building types and customer markets; industrial, commercial, residential; maintains GMPs and safety requirements as required, knows construction methods and related codes in each area of industry.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Roboto\">Establishes service by studying system requirements; ordering and gathering components and parts; completing resolution; performing acceptance tests and commissioning.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Roboto\">Reviews work orders and job files for all pertinent data including job layout drawings, specifications and other technical data as required for a more efficient service, inspections and installations.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Roboto\">Troubleshoots and identifies malfunctioning or inoperative equipment and cause of failure on systems including CCTV, Fire Alarm, Burglar Alarm, Card Access, Paging, Structured Cabling and any future systems supported in the Technology Division, using electronic testing equipment and electronic theory.</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Roboto; font-weight: bold\">What You Bring (Required Experience)</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Roboto\">High school diploma or general education degree (GED).</span></li>\n<li><span><span style=\"font-family: Roboto\">Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience with electronics and/or low voltage systems.</span></span></li>\n<li><span><span style=\"font-family: Roboto\">Willingness to travel up to 25%.</span></span></li>\n<li><span><span style=\"font-family: Roboto\">Must be certified in CPR and First Aid or able to obtain certification shortly after the start date.</span></span></li>\n<li><span><span style=\"font-family: Roboto\">NFPA70E training.</span></span></li>\n<li><span><span style=\"font-family: Roboto\">This position may require team members to drive a company vehicle. If so, team members must possess a valid driver’s license and have a good driving record that allows the company to ensure such individuals under the company’s insurance policies. Team members must also carry auto liability insurance.
