If you have capacity to take on a few patients or more than a few, <em><strong>let's talk!</strong></em> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em><strong>Looking to hire in either Independant contractor or employee contract</strong></em></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em><strong>Walkerton, Kincardine, Port Eligin & Surrounding areas</strong></em></p>\n<h2>What We Offer</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Competitive salary, comprehensive health and dental benefits</li>\n <li>Employment perks such as Employee Assistance Program, Perkopolis, Rewards Points</li>\n <li>Flexible scheduling supporting employee work life balance</li>\n <li>Inspiring leadership and opportunities for professional growth</li>\n <li>Supportive & dedicated Safety Health & Wellness team & Pandemic Response team</li>\n <li>Interprofessional collaboration with our Professional Practice Research & Education Team</li>\n <li><p><em>This position offers a competitive compensation grid, with progression based on hours worked and role-specific criteria. <strong>The OT per visit range is $74.48 to $86.85</strong> and the <strong>hourly range is $37.23 to $43.41.</strong> Placement within the grid will be determined in accordance with company policies and procedures, as well as the candidate’s knowledge, skills, qualifications, and relevant experience.</em></p></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What The Role Involves</h2>\n<p><strong>Our Occupational Therapists provide a critical role in providing high quality patient care</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Provides coordination, supervision, and coaching to the Community Support Workers in the field</li>\n <li>Professional assessment of patients in the community and in their homes</li>\n <li>Develops and maintains an effective Care Plan with respect to Community Health Services, independently or in cooperation with the Ontario Health atHome</li>\n <li>Works with the patient on appropriate time-specific, measurable goals and outcomes in collaboration with the care team</li>\n <li>Works independently and as an integral member of an interdisciplinary care team</li>\n <li>Provides active guidance for workplace Health and Safety</li>\n <li>Performs other duties as required</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What You Bring</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Master’s Degree (or equivalent) degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized university</li>\n <li>Registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario</li>\n <li>Proven computer skills, including email, MS Word and Outlook, work scheduling systems</li>\n <li>Strong assessment skills and the ability to participate in effective treatment programs</li>\n <li>Provide one-on-one therapeutic support with clients</li>\n <li>Promotes independence of the client in the home and in the community</li>\n <li>A reliable vehicle for some regular travel</li>\n <li>Excellent English verbal and written communication skills</li>\n <li>French language skills are an asset</li>\n <li>Clear Background and Vulnerable Sector Check</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>CarePartners In Your Community</h2>\n<p>In addition to providing home-based health care, CarePartners also serves the community through clinics, transitional care units, and provides relief in retirement homes and shared care settings.
