This role oversees both <strong>Kitchen and Packaging teams</strong>, providing direction to supervisors and ensuring production runs safely, efficiently, and meets quality standards.</p>\n\n<p>This is a great opportunity for a <strong>strong supervisor or lead ready to step into a broader leadership role</strong> without the full scope of a plant-wide Production Manager.</p>\n\n<hr />\n<h3><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></h3>\n\n<h4><strong>Lead the Shift</strong></h4>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>Oversee all 2nd shift production activities across Kitchen and Packaging</li>\n\t<li>Provide direction and support to department supervisors</li>\n\t<li>Serve as the primary point of contact for all shift-related issues</li>\n</ul>\n\n<h4><strong>Drive Production Performance</strong></h4>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>Ensure production schedules are executed on time with minimal downtime or waste</li>\n\t<li>Monitor staffing and adjust as needed to maintain efficiency</li>\n\t<li>Coordinate closely with Maintenance, Quality, and Warehouse teams</li>\n</ul>\n\n<h4><strong>Support &amp; Develop Supervisors</strong></h4>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>Coach and guide supervisors on performance, accountability, and team management</li>\n\t<li>Reinforce expectations around attendance, conduct, and productivity</li>\n\t<li>Help build a strong, consistent leadership culture across the shift</li>\n</ul>\n\n<h4><strong>Maintain Safety &amp; Quality Standards</strong></h4>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>Enforce food safety practices, GMPs, and PPE requirements</li>\n\t<li>Ensure all processes meet internal quality and audit standards</li>\n\t<li>Partner with QA to verify product quality and proper line startup/shutdown</li>\n</ul>\n\n<h4><strong>Own the Shift Execution</strong></h4>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>Complete shift reporting and communicate key updates to leadership</li>\n\t<li>Identify issues quickly and take action to resolve or escalate</li>\n\t<li>Maintain a clean, organized, and audit-ready production floor</li>\n</ul>\n\n<hr />\n<h3><strong>What We’re Looking For</strong></h3>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>2–5 years of leadership experience in manufacturing (food production preferred)</li>\n\t<li>Experience supervising teams or leading a department/shift</li>\n\t<li>Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment</li>\n\t<li>Working knowledge of food safety, GMPs, or quality standards</li>\n\t<li>Ability to lead by example and hold teams accountable</li>\n\t<li>Comfortable being hands-on and present on the production floor</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p><strong>Preferred:</strong></p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>Experience in food manufacturing or high-speed production environments</li>\n\t<li>Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus</li>\n</ul>\n\n<hr />\n<h3><strong>Why Join Us</strong></h3>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>Growing food manufacturing company with strong leadership support</li>\n\t<li>Opportunity to step into a <strong>multi-department leadership role</strong></li>\n\t<li>Clear path for growth as we expand operations</li>\n\t<li>Collaborative, team-focused culture</li>\n</ul>\n\n<hr />\n<h3><strong>Work Environment</strong></h3>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>Manufacturing setting (kitchen and packaging areas)</li>\n\t<li>Requires standing, walking, and occasional lifting (up to 50 lbs)</li>\n\t<li>Forklift certification preferred or willingness to obtain</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p><em>Piedmont Candy is an Equal Opportunity Employer</em></p>",
