This hands-on position is critical to maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient work environment. The ideal candidate will assist with mechanical tasks, shop organization, parts management, and safety practices to keep the shop running smoothly.</p><p>&#xa0;</p><p>Key Responsibility's:</p><ul><li><p>Vehicle &amp; Equipment Cleaning:<br>\nWash and detail heavy trucks, trailers, and shop equipment, including degreasing, polishing, and preparing units for inspection.</p></li><li><p>Shop &amp; Yard Duties:</p><ul><li><p>Shunt trucks in and out of the shop safely and promptly</p></li><li><p>Sweep, pressure wash, and dispose of waste to maintain shop cleanliness</p></li><li><p>Perform yard checks and assist with outdoor maintenance as needed</p></li></ul></li><li><p>Parts &amp; Inventory Support:</p><ul><li><p>Perform parts runs to suppliers and dealerships</p></li><li><p>Stage parts for technicians</p></li><li><p>Receive and organize parts shipments, manage inventory, and restock consumables</p></li><li><p>Handle basic shipping and receiving tasks</p></li></ul></li><li><p>Technician Assistance:</p><ul><li><p>Move tools, hold components, and assist with day-to-day mechanical tasks</p></li><li><p>Complete basic mechanical work under supervision, such as fluid checks, replacing lights, filters, minor adjustments, and carpentry work like repairing decking</p></li></ul></li><li><p>Health, Safety &amp; Environmental Compliance:</p><ul><li><p>Follow all safety protocols and report hazards</p></li></ul></li></ul>",
