If you’re interested in making a positive impact, opportunities to grow personally and professionally, and making smart new friends – we’d love to have you join us.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>At VHB, our Site Investigation & Remediation (SI&R) practice is dedicated to delivering comprehensive services that investigate, manage and mitigate environmental risks while satisfying regulatory requirements and complex project variables. Join our team and play a crucial role in enhancing how we deliver technically excellent and thoughtful SIR services to our clients. You'll be instrumental in creating cost-effective, multi-disciplinary solutions and providing essential SI&R support for some of Vermont’s most notable development and infrastructure projects.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Develop and manage effective site investigation and remediation field programs</li>\n <li>Provide hands-on support during field exploration and testing</li>\n <li>Interpret and communicate investigation findings</li>\n <li>Leverage technology to support data management and visualization</li>\n <li>Participate in environmental due diligence activities</li>\n <li>Write technical reports, correspondence, notes, and memoranda Skills & Abilities</li>\n <li>Ability to work in office and field settings (this position requires traveling within New York City, New York State, and nearby states).</li>\n <li>Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills</li>\n <li>Self-motivated with abilities to problem solve and work independently</li>\n <li>Documents work in a detailed manner and keeps data and other information organized</li>\n <li>Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word, experience with AutoCAD, ESRI ArcGIS Pro and EQuIS or other laboratory data management software a plus</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Skills & Abilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to work in office and field settings (this position requires traveling within New York City, New York State, and nearby states).</li>\n <li>Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills</li>\n <li>Self-motivated with abilities to problem solve and work independently</li>\n <li>Documents work in a detailed manner and keeps data and other information organized</li>\n <li>Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word, experience with AutoCAD, ESRI ArcGIS Pro and EQuIS or other laboratory data management software a plus</li>\n <li>Phase I +II ESA experience</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Minimum Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>BS in Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, or Civil or Environmental Engineering</li>\n <li>1-3 years of professional environmental/remediation consulting experience required</li>\n <li>OSHA 40 hr. HAZWOPER certification and annual refresher certifications required after 30 days of employment</li>\n <li>Valid driver's license</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Our best estimate of the salary range for this position located in New York City and New Jersey is $71,000-80,000. This offer is determined based on a number of job-related factors including internal comparators, skills, education, training, credentials, experience, scope and complexity of role responsibilities and geographic location.
