You’ll have the opportunity to influence how 600 team members work safely every day, while building programs that truly make a difference. If you enjoy being hands-on, driving change, and developing a strong team, this role offers both visibility and long-term growth within a fast-moving environment. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>What You'll Do:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead and continuously improve safety and environmental programs across multiple sites, ensuring a safe, compliant, and proactive workplace</li>\n <li>Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and drive actions that prevent repeat issues and reduce overall risk</li>\n <li>Build and deliver training programs that engage employees and strengthen a culture of safety ownership at every level</li>\n <li>Partner with leadership to manage compliance, reporting, and emergency response planning while maintaining strong relationships with regulatory agencies</li>\n <li>Develop and coach a small team while overseeing workers’ compensation, contractor safety, and key safety-related projects</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications/Requirements</h2>\n<p><strong>Required:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) or a related field</li>\n <li>5+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment</li>\n <li>Working knowledge of OSHA and environmental regulations with hands-on compliance experience</li>\n <li>Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work across all levels of the organization</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>10+ years of EHS experience, including leadership or team management responsibility</li>\n <li>Safety certifications (e.g., CSP, CIH) and experience leading site-wide safety programs</li>\n <li>Background in the spirits, food & beverage, or other regulated manufacturing industries</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Culture and Benefits</h2>\n<p>Sazerac offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401K, paid time off, and more.
