    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>We are looking for compassionate and patient-focused Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) or Patient Care Techs (PCTs) to provide direct or indirect patient care under the supervision and direction of a nurse. This important role serves as an invaluable link between a patient and the rest of their healthcare team. If you are looking for a career in improving the quality of life for our patients.</p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>PART TIME: 12HR shifts, rotating weekends, several DAYS (7:00a-7:00p) and one NIGHTS (7:00p-7:00a) available</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Assisting with patient activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, meals)</li>\n <li>Maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for patients</li>\n <li>Documents observations and care given in accord with hospital process according to hospital policies and procedures.</li>\n <li>Responds to patient call light timely</li>\n <li>Assists with admission, transfers, and discharges of patients</li>\n <li>Obtains vital signs as directed by plan of care: Temperature, Pulse, Respirations, Blood pressure, noninvasive oxygen saturation</li>\n <li>Assists the nurse in giving physical and emotional support to the patient.</li>\n <li>Provides for dietary and fluid needs of the patient, such nourishment, feeding, maintaining an accurate fluid intake &amp; output.</li>\n <li>Electronic Medical Record documentation as needed for the job&nbsp;<br>\n  &nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.</li>\n <li>1 year of experience as a&nbsp;CNA or PCT in a short-term skilled nursing facility OR acute care OR post-acute care inpatient hospital required.</li>\n <li>Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.</li>\n <li><u>MUST be able to attend a full week of Orientation/Training, Mon-Fri 8:00am-5:00pm</u><br>\n  &nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>&nbsp;Thriving in a culture that you can be proud of, you will also receive many employee benefits such as the following:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Competitive Pay</li>\n <li>Comprehensive Benefits package</li>\n <li>Employee Discounts</li>\n <li>Clinical Education and Professional Development Programs</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><i><strong>Brooks Rehabilitation is a designated Magnet Hospital.
